What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Been slowly working on a bed drawer system, and made some more headway today!

Mounted D-rings to the front two bed bolts:

Got the brackets for the turn-buckles mounted to the box:

Did a test fit of the drawers and hung off both them (at the same time) and nothing broke so that's a plus!

These are in-progress shots, the whole system will look nice and clean when finished of course!

 

Thanks! Surprisingly my wife now wants to switch hers around to white letters out. She has the same tires but with Stealth 6s on her 4Runner. Blew me away when she said she wants hers with the white letters out.

Wrong gen. This is what have you done to your second gen not third gen. There is a thread on that I believe somewhere. BTW love that color. Wish that was an option on 2nd gens

Put my rear fender liners back in and made them fit my high clearance bumper. Didn't realize how much I would miss having these stupid things. Rocks sound like gunshots and any puddle you hit gushes out of the fuel door without them.





Also painted and installed my BAMF LCA Skids. These things are beefy!

These welds are amazing, they always impress the hell out of me!

 

We had bought our Tacoma used with about 65K on it and the belt squealed a little when it was cold/moist outside in the morning. Keeping the old one under the rear seats for an emergency backup, but it was definitely starting to crack in several places. Time for a new one.

 

Coated the shocks and coilovers in clear gloss acrylic today so they stay shiny.

 

sanded and rattle canned my black mirrors with some dupli color silver Mica, high gloss finish, and plasti dip on the black corner mount pillars

Modified oem bumpstops to work with wheelers u bolt flip kit. Gave it a good vacuum, wash, and minor detail as its been months. Hoping to get it lifted in two weeks.

 

Why don't you fix it so it doesn't throw a cel?

Or Acetone/Trans fluid 50/50.

I've had this old 05 truck w/100,500 miles now going on 6 years. Had several issues in which I tried to fix. Then cleared the codes to see if it would come back or a new one would pop up. The biggest issue I had was the exhaust gas recirculation system. Ended up by passing it.
