I'm pretty much on the Clarksburg/Stamford line and work in Dalton, so I usually go 116 to 8A and down 9.

I didn't have any snow at home this morning.

    Morning all! Monday...
Spent yesterday giving the garage & workshop their usual spring cleaning; dragged everything in the garage out into the driveway, power washed the floors, and dragged everything back in & put it away, then power washed the exterior.

    Monday Monday Monday.

Hope everyone has a good week. But on a side note... is it just me or is the new Trd pro color just awful. I hate it, but i keep seeing people saying how great it is. What are your thoughts??

Yes. Hands down, least favorite color these trucks have been offered in since 1995.(maybe even earlier)

I think its the best blue offered to date and can look good with fresh wax/ blacked out.
I prefer it over alot of the greens they used to offer also wasn’t a fan of the maroon.

    Morning people!

I used to love riding my motorcycle out that way when I lived in South Hadley. You are lucky to live in the country!

Had a great day fishing the big lake this weekend, ice out was declared on Thursday and I was trolling it by 7am Saturday. In 15 minutes I had hooked into a nice, 20" chrome. He ran almost 3lbs, one of my better salmon, they fight like a bastard. Hooked 3 more of those for the day, although slightly smaller, and 2 keeper size rainbows with great winter coloring. Not too shabby.

Lucky you guys, you get to see my ugly face this morning...

I feel that way about the royal blue they are offering now on the other models. (Not sure of the name?) but that’s why I asked, I’m glad it appeals to some people, I just happen to not be one of them. To each their own you know

I wouldn't mind it if I could change it after like a month, haha. One of those colors I think looks decent and somewhat unique, but I would get sick of.

Morning all. Wish I took today off. Feel like I got hit by a freight train. I'm just glad to have finished. The 3 other guys I did the race with put up sub 10 hour times (pretty damn good and all top 20 out of the 200 in the competative category we ran in). I twisted my knee pretty bad on a technical downhill section around mile 14. Uphill was ok, downhill I could put no weight on my right knee which resulted in some real slow downhill times. Limped into the transition area and seriously thought about quitting after seeing quite a few non-injured people packing it up. Then said fuck it and literally hobbled the 14 miles of the second loop. Got pulled off course for an hour at mile 27ish from 6-7 pm for lighting then went back out and shuffled the last 3.5 miles and beat the 9pm course cutoff by 30 minutes. Pretty pumped to have finished after not being able to run ~1/2 the race. Just over 32 miles, 9,000 + feet of elevation gain. Anyone thinking about doing an ultra or even a Beast should. Initial reports are only a 46% finish rate, which i did while virtually not running a good majority of the race. Just about anyone could do it provided you dont being uncomfortable. Really really fucking uncomfortable. Also if you do an ultra you get a sweet purple Texas sized belt buckle....IMG_20180428_211757534_LL.jpgScreenshot_20180428-213417.jpg

Hang on, you ran/jogged/whatever'd for 14 hours?

F that shit. I'll do a couple of miles when I go for a jog, but that's just :der:

Yes. Alot more of a really fast hike since it was on a series of mountain peaks you would summit/ traverse ridgelines, go down, summit again etc.... Think power hiking cause very little was on open ground. At least 40% was technical rock slopes you either scrambled up or down sometimes on your hands and knees. Then when the trail gets slightly less sketchy you run/ jog.
