    Gotcha.
I've never really been able to get into the "exertion for exertion's own sake" mindset. I will happily bust ass all day if I'm getting something done, but I have to force myself to work out/exercise. So I envy you there, but don't envy you for how you spent your weekend

Any of you folks who have a travel trailer/RV - I am chasing down an electrical gremlin and am lost on how to proceed. I have 120V coming into the camper through my shore power - and I have 120V at the main breaker - but that is as far as I can chase it. I am getting 120V into the converter, and getting power coming out of it is as well, but it is not charging my battery. To make it more fun, I have no power to any of my 120V appliances (AC, microwave, refrigerator), and all the outlets in the camper are dead.

I cannot reset the GFI in the bathroom because there is no load on it, so I do not think that is giving me grief. Trying to figure out if my converter is bad and needs replacing (original to the trailer from 2005). My truck charges the battery and will run all the 12V circuits when plugged in (lights, ac control, fans)....My assumption is that if I have 120V coming in through shore power, the outlets should be getting full power regardless of a bad converter.

Anyone know if the converter has the main power to the outlets running through it, or is it a stand alone unit that ONLY feeds the 12V system?

That is fucking awesome! Congrats! Glad you made that cutoff, otherwise that would have really sucked haha. Getting 30 miles in and then be pulled off because of the cutoff.

Hopefully you remembered to tape your nipples

The 120v and 12v systems should be separate. This sounds like a bad breaker or a something similar. It sounds like you aren't even getting power to the inverter and I base that on none of your 120v accessories working. If you're plugged into a 12v source and the 12v accessories are working, then the wiring on the 12v system is fine. The inverter has nothing to do with this at all. The inverter is only used to convert 120v to 12v. When plugged into shore power, do you trip the outlet that you're plugged into, any electrical burning smells? Worst case would be a dead short. Any other wiring been done on the trailer and did everything work when you put it away?

I think you have something going on at the main breaker. Your inverter might be bad but I don't think that's your main issue. When you're plugged into shore power, do you hear the fan on the inverter? Do you have anything else running on 12v, ie, do your lights work when plugged into shore power and no battery connected?

That sucks. Not surprised though after 32 miles, lotta rubbing going on all over. How'd your feet hold up with the shoes? I've done 18 miles in the all terrains before and towards the end they weren't feeling too great.

They are swollen. My toes all feel like someone hit them with a sledge. Though I'm sure not training beyond running with a weight vest at work during lunch and fitness cult did not properly prepare my body/ feet for the volume of running that I did.

The inverter fan does not run when plugged into shore power. Using my converter to hookup the 30A cable to my house power and I am getting full 120V at the connection to the trailer so the cable is carrying the load fine. I replaced the main breaker already thinking that was the culprit, but the same issue prevails. Everything worked fine when I put the camper away for the winter, now trying to fix this before heading out in a few weeks. No breakers are tripping so its getting more and more confusing.

I have an exterior GFI outlet that does not have a reset button on it - replacing that one tonight with a new one that does have the button to see if that is the source of my power issues. I replaced my water pump a few weeks ago and tested that to the ends of the earth; put in the old pump, tried the new pump, bypassed it all together and still no luck.

How many breakers does the camper have after the main breaker? I would tear apart that breaker panel and see where you're losing the power. Are you able to test that you have power after the main breaker? It sounds like none of the subsequent breakers are receiving power. It's strange that all of them would go bad at the same time. There's something going on with that main breaker, maybe the wire leading from the main to the smaller breakers got disconnected. If it's just disconnected, then you wouldn't trip anything.

I made the mistake of going there before taking it off, so it would have a been a tad obvious I feel like showing up without it. Took off everything they basically couldn't see, did save my Timbrin bump stops though
