I feel ya Cody but the truth of the matter is, every shipment is guaranteed money without any pre-orders, lists or group buys. I know it sucks to put progress on hold when it comes to mods and believe me, me and a lot of other people were in your shoes at one time. Nothing I can say to you will make the current situation any better but if your diligent and more important, patient, like so many before you, your day too will come

I have a fuck ton on mine. More so on one than the others. And still a vibe, that I haven't had a chance to go back and see if they can iron out.. I believe its the tires tho.

Seems excessive for SCS. Likely the tires.

You guys with all those weights it is probably because the heaviest part of the tire isn’t mounted in the correct spot. Should be close to the valve stem. Most tires come woth a yellow or red dot on the sidewall to help guide the installer.

Trust me I get it, but scs is special bc of the Tacoma community and tacomaworld... would be nice to have some sort of a waiting list, group buy, pre-order, or some type of organization so it’s not a rugby scrum to throw 1k at somebody. If only for the tacomaworld community

Idk.. Probly. Discount tire didnt say anything about it. But I purchased them on eBay. Centennial dirt commanders. Have heard that others have had balancing issues with these as well. Oh well. Not too bad. Ill live with it for the money i saved. Theyre freaking awesome tires otherwise!

98% of the time, when there's a ton of weight needed to balance the wheel and tire, it's usually the tire that causes the issue. This can happen with brand new tires. Sometimes, the way they are stored or shipped can cause the tire to slightly get out of shape/deform which makes it tougher to balance. Generally, if a tire tech sees this, they should dismount and rotate the tires 180* to better match the balance with the wheel.

If a wheel is ever suspected of being out of round, have the tire tech spin balance just the wheel alone. If it's bad, you can tell right away. Whenever possible, try to get them road force balance. It costs a little more, but it will help to get the best possible balancing job.

I carried in a set of ko2s and they were very quick to let me know one was out of round. They just so happened to have one in stock to be able to get me out the door LOL. I got the other one exchanged and have a full size spare!

Yeah I still need to get me a matching spare to slap on my spare scs i got. So I'll just swap the tires out and hope that the new one is better, and the current one will be my spare.. Because I highly doubt the seller i bought my tires from will do anything about it. Probly too late now even if so.

How did the 255/80r17's fit for you? I am thinking the same route.

I don’t have any complaints. I love them. Not loud and don’t pull to either side for me. I will go up in size and width next time. But I’m going to be regearing at the same time, otherwise I’d stay with this size
