Just wanted to share with everyone, my passenger side cv boot blew this past weekend on a trip to Yosemite. Out of curiosity I called Mossy Toyota to see if they had the part on hand, and they quoted me at $645 for ONE CV AXLE!!! Almost laughed on the phone.

Needless to say picked one up at NAPA for $70. They actually have a deal at NAPA now if you buy a $2.99 work bucket you get 20% off your whole purchase!

I hope you saved your oem axle and reboot that for a spare. Low cost aftermarket axles are no good in quality

That’s a good idea, will definitely do that, but ive heard good things about the NAPA ones. Hopefully it holds up.

You should be able to find oem cv’s online for way less than pb stealership

Hey guys just moved to Vista a few months back. Can anyone recommended a mechanic to install a ECGS bushing?
