i have two bags, not their dual bag system which has an ugly bar that attaches to the ladder and looks tacky.

They hold my 13 steel toe mid rise boots just fine. They work great.

I have shoe bags on my tent. Not Tepui. My size 13 shoes fit.. have not tried boots.

The one that is closest to the cab in the picture, is a full set of spares for the tent (came with it). Theres another shoe bag on the corner on this side (it was folded up at the time of picture), and 2 on the other side.

Shoe bags of some sort are the best invention ever.

I bought Tepui's and they are probably overpriced. You can rig up something for $10 probably that will work just as well. Their design with that bar is a bit bulky to transport though

Does anyone lust leave their sleeping bag in their RTT? Came back from the grand canyon yesterday and was too lazy to open up the tent to get the sleeping bag out.

two bags separate from the silly bar is much cleaner and easy to pack in/out. I didnt really want Orange but it works.

I think I’m sold on the boot bags, but separate ones.

Okay. Just was afraid it will compress too much and ruin the loft.

What are people using to secure RTT from theft? I see locking nuts on Tepui website. Still waiting on my rack, but it’s round tubing so I’m still looking up mounting options. Not sure if the hardware Tepui supplied is sufficient for a round tube. U Bolts maybe ?

Just browsed the shoe/boot bag topic. I have a CVT Shasta extended (they are called now), I put my shoes in between the ladder hood bar and the tent fabric with bottom of the shoe twords the fabric, toes down, closest to the bar hinge. They stay outside the tent and never had an issue with them falling.

But for all the guys running a different tent, you can take a fabric reusable bag and create a choker hitch on the top rung of the ladder.. Can fit multiple shoes and even size 13s.

I like the price of this mod!
But my concern would be rain or condensation.

Which tent did you go with? Shell brand? Rack brand?

I'm doing my research, I have a Leer XR with Thule racks...want to see if anyone else is running similar set up.
    Thanks.

MARCHWAY Floating Waterproof Dry Bag 5L/10L/20L/30L, Roll Top Dry Sack for Kayaking, Rafting, Boating, Swimming, Camping, Hiking, Beach, Fishing, Skiing, Snowboarding (Deep Orange, 20L) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071H948C7/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_1Q55AbQCZFW52

Saw these in orange. Kinda match but I think I need 30L option. They only have 10-20L. I have carabiners and Velcro straps to attach.
