Got the update file, then it said dongle index value does not match remote update data, tried it again then it said invalid dump size, contact developer. Not sure what I did wrong there.

I'm having problems with the program as well. Hoping to hear back soon, as I've been waiting a month and a half now.

From what I've read and understand, you can use your hardware, but would have to repurchase the software portion that is truck specific. Could be wrong though.

Wanted to let everyone know that during this move my site will be down, but that does NOT mean I am not available and working. During the down time I intend to have everything completely finished on all fronts. I can't let delays like these happen again in the future, so there will be a new system setup once everything is back online.

All good. Clocked in >500 miles over the weekend and the truck drove superbly the whole way. I even had 700 lbs of stuff loaded down and averaged 17mpgs with that (plus 2 adults, one infant, and 300lbs of bolt-ons) for the last 80 miles or so of my drive

Thanks for the hard work and good luck (and congrats?) on the new locale.

You mentioned you were planning to do >1,000 miles of towing soon. Is that still happening as part of your move? About to buy a travel trailer soon and would love to get your read on towing at some stage.

I'll have a few thousand miles of towing starting in a couple weeks. Hopefully 1.04 for the MT is ready by then and I'll have lots of data to report back.

Thanks for the heads up @OVTune !! Any estimate on when you'll be taking new tune orders or have them back in stock?

Is anyone having issues with the flash manager not showing the usb dongle? I installed all the drivers and nothing is popping up on the interface.... Black usb Dongle if it makes a difference.

You don't need to do that step if your ECU is already supported. Skip to recognizing your ECU, downloading the file then FLASH it.

That's of course if your ECU is already being supported, if not, you're on the right path.

Ovtune needs to post better instructions for new batch cause its confusing. There is a software issue and you have to email him for new batch instructions then he emails you software info to input which makes serial # show up then u email him serial and ect. Its not the directions on his first post.

A few pages back he did address this in a post though

Well crap. Thank you for that. I was running through both the PDF and that video trying to figure out if I did something wrong.

Towed my 19’ boat (about 3000lbs) yesterday about 40 miles, truck towed much better than stock. Truck really doesn’t have the torque to stay in 5th around 50 mph, so I left it in 4th. MPGs were solid around 17. Couldn’t see towing anything heavier or pushing any wind. I did notice the truck felt stronger after unhooking the boat and driving around town, almost like the truck learned how to make power under load.

    I flashed from 1.04 91 to 1.04 87. I’m probably the only one, but I like 1.04 87
just as much if not better. Just feels smoother to me. Gonna keep it like this for the foreseeable future.
