It's the previous taco owners thread, problem is some folks got confused when they got rid of their tacos and got fords. Now that shit is catching, time to get out before it's too late.

Nope it's more of an autocross setup so it's lowered on track suspension and a shit ton of braces under the car... all metal bushings for majority of the drivetrain as well because well who need poly... Girls love sitting in the backseat with the vibes though :D

It has... plates.... hasn't passed emissions in over 5 years though! Fuck this state!

Update on the National Grid construction... they didn't dig in front of my house - I heard one of them yelling at another about it being the house across the street. They almost broke ground in front of my house for nothing too.... idiots

Go ahead put another taco at a Ford dealership. So many have already done, Ford is thinking about getting into the Salsa making business.

Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one left who actually still likes the Tacoma! I don't have a burning desire (or need) to go bigger and I like my 3G.

    I'll see myself out now.

I got $22k for it. They started at $20k I got them to come up a little bit. It’s kind of tough cause NADA said $26k on trade and KBB said $21k. NADA retail says $29k but like they have it listed if you actually list it at NADA you’ll never be able to sell it. I was ok with the trade. End of the day they need to make money so they’ll make a couple grand on it. When I went to look at a f150 they were stuck at $20k so be wary of some low balling since they like to ask for NADA on theirs and offer KBB on yours.
I got them to max out the KBB trade on mine and get their 4Runner on the bottom end of KBB so overal deal was pretty decent

Yeah I should have pulled it off. Only thing I didn’t have to go back to fully stock was rear shocks and tires. But it would have been a day worth of ripping things off and an alignment on top and then the hassle of selling things on the side

I figured 22 would be the highest I’d get on trade so it sounds about right to me

I had to make the call before I got to 60k miles on to keep it or trade it cause that’s the tipping point on trade cause it goes into a different buyer market and also dealer start to offer a lot lower. I let them make the offer first, hit them at $23k and then agreed on $22k. Dealer was good though and we just worked the difference between the vehicles and not the whole monthly payment deal and such.

Truck also was gonna need new brakes and some other TLC so again didn’t wanna drop couple hundred more dollars into it to only to trade it in later this year and get even less on trade.

Will that be enough time? I don't have weeks to discuss all the issues!

I have nothing against full size trucks, I think they're great, but I couldn't ever see myself needing the capability of one.

    Precisely.

Keep your shaming to the 3G forum, where all the cool kid 2G owners lurk.
