There was 10" of snow outside that day so I had time to play in the garage. The TRD is a decal and the engine cover letters are from @rrentrop

I used plasti-dip flex blue for my engine cover. 8T0 is the actual Toyota paint code.

Hey Guys how much do scratches and dirt show up on Blazin Blue? The other color I like is silver but I would get blue if scratches/dirt are not that noticeable.

I dont mind pollen as much as scratches, are scratches really noticeable? The only reason I would get silver over blue is due to the scratches.

I cannot answer for scratches as I have none (knock on wood), however, my truck stays clean looking. The last time I washed my truck was March 5th. It still looks clean. I am debating washing it today but pollen is falling heavy. I have been through numerous rainy days and thunderstorms since my last wash. I do use paste wax and I rinse it off with a water hose once a week. I am quite amazed at how clean it looks. Now my tires are looking a little discolored but otherwise it looks damn good. I had red, white, and gray for my last 3 trucks so I was very concerned about the truck showing dirt. Between a really good paste wax and apparently good clearcoat paint I am very happy with the color. Pollen sucks no matter what color. With good clearcoat minor scratches will buff out unless the scratch is through the base paint. Then you just need a touch up paint pen. Note my truck is a street truck so no trail scratches.

I don’t think it’s too bad. It’s not like black or anything. Our 2014 Black Highlander shows everything.
Get the blue. It’s a great color.

I mentioned before that I have not detailed mine since March 5th and it still shines. Really wanted to wash it today but pollen count is super high and getting worse all week. Looks like another water hose down and a tire wash will do for this week. Maybe it will get washed next weekend. Damn this freakin pollen.
EDIT-OK-1 hour later I am eating my own words. Couldn't resist spending $10 for a quick detail. Look quick before the pollen takes over my truck.

I reluctantly went with blue. Could not get an inferno for months so drove 4 hours to look at the blue one. When I saw it on the lot I closed the deal. No regrets after 2-1/3 years.

Yes, I'm old. (and old school) I love my T-Rex billet grille. Don't be a hater. :)

Pretty much still stock aside from Hikari's and floor mats / bed mat.

I got a blue one because that’s all they had at the time... The salesman asked what color I wanted and I said “No red or white.” He said “We have a blue one.”
In the end I really ended up liking this color allot!

i wanted a blue one when i got my 16, but none were available anywhere around me, so i settled on a barcelona red sr5. it never was really what i wanted, both in features and in color. when the prices started dropping on the 17s at the end of the year, i traded and haven't looked back. i will say that the blue shows dirt and pollen way more than the red ever did.

You want BBP? You can't HANDLE BBP!

Just kidding (mostly). Go with what you like, and no regrets.

I've added a few things the past few months. Chinese TRD Pro Grille, CaliRaised side projecting LED pods, Rigid amber pod covers, wheel vinyls, TRD center caps stick-ons, and some BBP vent rings that I won in an IG giveaway (thanks to TufSkinz).
