Toyota gave me $400 "goodwill" credit for parts/accessories/service from my local dealer to settle a dispute regarding my brand new TRD Pro.

    What would you get?

It’s Toyota so depending on what it was they probably wouldn’t of done anything even if he kept insisting so the 400 is great

The front rotors were out of round on delivery, so I had this brake shudder at low speed. They turned the rotors, but I told them they should replace the rotors since the truck was brand new. The dealer agreed with me, but they said, sorry, this is Toyota policy, call them directly. A case was opened, handed off a few times to different teams, and this was the end result, after about three weeks of complaining.

Nope, they just turned them. Brakes are fine now, well, as fine as they can be for shitty brakes, but they outright refused to replace the rotors. I was thinking of upgrading the brakes anyway... but what to do with the $400? I considered continuing the fight, but at best, I'd have slightly newer shitty rotors.

They are not floating, if that’s where you were going with your question. Ie you can’t machine floating disks.

Its a ¨credit¨ for parts/service at the dealer, so I don´t think it could be used for that. Unless the toyota parts department is running another business in the back after hours.:fingerscrossed:

With the money left over from after the blow, hes not going to get a good caliber hooker.

How many hours did you spend over three weeks talking with Toyota, regarding an issue a truck that you most likely spent upwards of 45k? It's not free money, sorry.

The money needs to be spent at the dealership, thats the one caveat. So when I upgrade the brakes thats not coming from the dealership.
