I benefited from the last wood scraps you gave away so I will not ask for these. However if you get no takers then I would be interested if you were going to toss them out as scrap. Thanks.

If you go to USPS.com you can create an account and make a shipping label, print as a PDF and send it to me.
I will check, but went to the post office on Saturday and these are the choices for flat rate shippers:
    IMG_20180428_115133242.jpg

I have a few medium boxes in hand. I can round it out with some ipe or whatever intetesting scraps I have around.

Yeah, they will get tossed if nobody wants them, which is a shame- these somewhat exotic species are too good to "waste".

Let me know. If you do get a USPS account, could probably send you additional scraps from time to time. I have no use for these, but think others might.

    Cheers!

I have a door with a crack in one panel, otherwise it’s in great shape. Was thinking of - somehow - opening the crack up a bit and injecting wood glue. Once done I’d clamp it for compression, let it cure and repaint. This make sense? If yes what is the right tool to open without doing a lot of damage? For inhefting, what is the best method? Apologies if this is overthinking the solution. Pics of back and front:

Since the door is painted, could you just inject some 2 part epoxy into the crack with a syringe and sand flush and repaint after it cures? Tape the bottom if the crack goes all the way through as epoxy will seep into every nook and cranny. No need to clamp.

This is the worst feeling, customer received the box and the lid was broken.

Is it the panel itself or the gap on the right side of first pic?

    I built this today.

Still need to drill a hole to route the power cord through the back. And mount the surge protector so it’s not just laying there.

Nice cabinet. I've been meaning to build something like that for a couple of years now but never seem to get around to it. I like your french cleat system.

Sucks because it costs $30 to ship the box each way. And I can't make a new lid and just send it because the box is sanded to have the lid edge faces blend with the boxes edge faces. Trying to figure out what the customer wants to do so I can fix this.

did you get it insured? I had to re-do a shadow box for a guy, because USPS messed it up. Luckily I did have it insured and got the money back.

The panel is cracked all the way through though more apparent on the front side. There is a gap on the right side as you have noticed.

I have a USPS account, but have not yet actually paid for a label/created a label. Looks like it is time to do so. No takers so far for the scraps?

    Actually, someone claimed them yesterday.

I will pm you next time something good shows up. Never know from week to week.

Like I said, it's a shame to waste such fine scraps.

    Cheers
