What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Well I just ordered some and hopefully they fit! I couldn’t find any specific for my ‘13 tacoma so I got the ones that said it was for ‘13 4runners, tundras and such, I’d assume it would be the same but we know what assuming can do! Lol Oh well we shall find out!

No work today, so I did a soa on my camper. Painted the wheels and new lug studs and nuts. After I finished it I decided to do an interior led upgrade. The fuel gauge is out of alignment and the lights for the fuel and temp worked when tested but quit once done.

Did some more work on my oba. Pulled the back wall panel and drilled some holes in the lower corners and added grommets to run the air lines from the tank and back to the air bags and slider cylinder. Until I pulled the bins I thought I'd be bringing the lines into the center console along the hump but it turns out there's already a convenient chase located under the bottom doorway moulding right alonside the wire loom so I'll use that then run them under the seats to the console where the solenoid air switches will be mounted. Pics tomorrow after work.

 

Yeah. My guess is a bad solder. My iron top is junk.

Correct. While I can still move the mirrors with the controls, the OR's are missing the wire for the turn signal. I'm going to get a local electrical guy to see what he can do.

 

You should be good to go. When I bought mine they said the fit all kinds of Toyotas so I assume they are all running the same size.

Fix it yourself, insurance will raise your rates more than the parts cost.

I got tired of the yellow Lamin-X so last night I added Morimoto XB fogs. Wasn't too bad of a job actually. There was brief panic when I realized I had to do a little wiring but that worked out OK. Took me longer than I thought it should've but I could do both in about 20 minutes if I had to do it again! Does anyone know the correct way to measure if the fogs are aimed right?

 

I want to do that almost exactly like you have it, what size vinyl did you purchase?

I'm having a hard time finding something with the right width & length that would keep me from butting up two pieces and having a seam.
