Morning all .. .. My dealer has outdone them selves this time ... This is my third rental .. I do have to tow my Horse trailer you know . ..that is until they get the frame replaced ...


I told then not to rush ..

 

It's a F-250 turbo diesel.. leather ..etc...You need a stepstool to get in ..

I can't wait to see it with the trailer hooked up !

 

I like my full size because of the gas mileage. I get 21mpg highway with my V-8 Sierra which is a good 2 mpg better than the Tacoma ever did.

 

My 2011 Tacoma had a sticker around $32k. I built what I'd want in a new one when I was thinking about replacing it and I was at about $40k.

I got my F-150 for a little under $40k and it has way more power, capability, and features than the Tacoma I would have wanted had. Plus I've been getting 21 MPG in daily driving, 24 highway with it. The Tacoma got 20-21 highway with an insane amount of luck, and 18-19 daily driving.

 

As seen in my signature, I suffer at around 17. I just can't justify getting out of the taco for a few mpgs. Going back, I probably would've bought something else

 

Don't get me wrong, I loved both my Tacos, but it's really shocking how stagnant Toyota development is.

 

Or lack of it.... This Ford seams like it's so far ahead of the Tundra I was driving... It's an other animal compared tp my Taco though

You guys realize that it says "Tacoma Owners & Enthusiasts" at the top of the page, right? I still like Tacomas and wouldn't mind having one, but on the balance a FS work truck fits my lifestyle better right now and I've already got too many vehicles.

 

Should change it to "Tacoma Owners, Enthusiasts, & Bull Shitters"

I'm enthusiastic about hating on Ford

 

I went to high school basically in front of UMass Boston. One year our intramural flag football team was the UMass Debate Team. Took a few weeks for the school to catch onto the name. We were then given JUGS (detention) for a week and forced to change the name.
