@Torspd is right. Your adherence to local emissions laws is what will dictate what you do or don’t with regards to your exhaust.

What I have seen many people do is buy:

    URD Off-road Y-pipe

    URD MKIII exhaust

    URD O2 simulators

Word of caution: I believe that owners of 2015 Tacomas have experienced issues with the URD O2 sims.

If you are interested in maximizing the complete exhaust system, add headers to the list above:

    URD Spec-U equal length headers

    Doug Thorley long tube headers

aFe also makes complete header-to-exhaust tip systems. I do not know of anyone who runs those as of yet.

Again, the options above are just that: options. There are numerous other manufacturers you can choose from, but do your research and choose what’s best for you (and your wallet).

Didn't want to give myself away by asking but I guess I have to. Looks like online research. I doubt anyone at the local emissions place knows much.

    Ah, okay.

I think you said you live in Washington state? If so, it looks like you’re good to go if you went with the above route. Apparently all 2009+ model year vehicles do not require emissions testing.

Thank you. I'll investigate. It may be I'm exempt for a while and down the road I may have to. I'll thoroughly check. I'd love a full exhaust.

The best mod you can ever do to your truck hands down. Slippage exists unless you do this mod! Seriously.

Good call. If I may, I will add:
If you go UCON you dont need o2 sims. Its built into UCON programming
I had intermittent p0420/p0430 cells with both o2 sims and UCON until I installed the 640cc injectors. Scott tweaked something in the tune and I havent had a cel since.
URD Spec U headers should be first on the list exhaust wise. Your biggest gains will be changing restrictive components closest to the engine, then working your way back.
The Mark III exhaust coupled with the off road y-pipe is louder than many people want. One fix is to add another resonator. The other I will be able to tell you with more certainty after this weekend.

That is correct jojo! Scott said "Thanks for the update. We can try a slight change with the 61lb injectors" in his email. I don't know why he can't do that with the Denso's but I did see him changing some proprietary voodoo UCON stuff and so far so good. :notsure:

I know that you have listed on the first page the shift kit that you reccommend, Ratio Tek. BUT I kinda already did a shift kit with the new transmission I had to put in. I put the Transgo kit in. Does anyone know if the transgo kit is any good or if I can put the RatioTek one in also or in place of? Are they possibly the same thing? I am going to do some research myself but wasn't sure if someone knew the answer already.

At sea level and stock exhaust on a 2.85 should be around 7 or 8 psi depending on temps

LOL 2.85 w/ full URD spec.U and 4400 ft is good for about 4! I wanna play at sea level. Maybe I wouldn't be so rich(AFR) either.
