What sucks is I almost got an enduro when I bought my xc. My bike shop had a new 06 Enduro Elite brand new and marked down to only $200 more than my xc but I passed thinking it was too heavy as more than needed at the time. Sure wish I could go back and get the enduro instead. :frusty:

eh.... im a little hesitant buying used DH bikes just because of the amount of stress put on the frame and components.... that size should be right for you... it really depends on your inseam though. take a look at it, ride it, make sure the frame is in tip top shape... triple check the welds and the bushings on the suspension parts. id even go as far as having your local bike shop who is familiar with these bikes take a look at it and make sure its ok to go bombing down the mountains on.

Not sure about the size, but Im 6'3" and have a 19" bike. its just a Iron Horse Warrior 4.0.

its a great bike, not a total down hill bike, but for 700 bucks it does great! but Im not quite there yet exspearience wise.. :) I plan on doing alot of trail riding this summer.

Does anyone know of any good trails in the Pacific NW area?

You should hit Whistler! That place looks insanely cool. I know a riding buddy of mine has hit some pretty cool sounding trails down here in Oregon, I'll ask him about some.

that seems a bit small for you because im 5'9" with a 19" Ironhorse Warrior 3.5 and it fits me just right.
as long as your comfortable with it thats all that matters!

Yeah, it is a little small, but thats what I wanted. I like a smaller bike. I feel more in control, If that makes sense.

Yeah, I agree about the small frame thing. I'm only 5'8 but ride a medium frame (17") and sometimes I wish it were even smaller. I think mainly I like the smaller size so its lower and feels more stable and 'flickable'

def. my specialized rockhopper is a 17 in. frame. its perfect when i want to go to the trails and just do the obstacle park (teeter totters and misc. jumps) i can throw my body around a little easier because the arms are not stretched out as much.
