The bumper itself was a 5 minute install. The lower section is when the hell began!

    Same for me lol

I’m probably going to end up cutting off the sway bar section and welding in a new section

^^ If I had the ability and welder that’s what I would do. The bottom tab is too short, I didn’t have room to wallow out the rear hole (no pun intended) I just had to v notch the end of it and hope there’s enough there to keep the sway bar bracket level. If it doesn’t I may have to cut that tab off and just get someone to weld it to the frame in front of the sway bar.

Good to know it will work. That was as far as I got last night. I haven’t removed the grille either but I may have to in order to check/fix the AC line clearance.

Finally got bumper installed. Figured out the bottom piece fits much better when you go ahead and line the actual bumper up where you want it and tighten it down and then fit the bottom piece to it. Was able to reuse stock skid plate for now, just had to cut openings for the brackets to fit through the bottom piece. I cut the front lip off of the skid plate and then realized that I didn’t need to but it doesn’t look too bad. Ordered some fog lights I will install those and the light bar and I will be done for a while.

You only need to notch it for 2012-2015's

Yes I had to notch it. Could barely even get it on the 3 bolts on the right side because it was hitting the line before I notched it. Used a 1 1/8” hole saw. I didn’t take a pic of it but it looks good.

The cost on these bumpers really went up. Not even worth it anymore reading all the mounting issues people are having.

It went up like $25 an 20 on rear. If you know what your getting into for the price it’s still a killer deal free shipping an it’s powder coated. Any other bumper I’ve seen other than a streamline is all 1000 plus bare an still have to have it shipped an paint it.

Still worth it for what I wanted. Zero issues that I wasn’t okay with.
