Thank you JMEITZ, Fast shipping, installation was a breeze. Like others have said, it takes longer to drop the plastic than it does to do the install. In all, I had it in and all buttoned back up within 15 minutes. Patrick

I had two questions. 1st question is how much and 2nd question is what is the distance range?

Since it 3x start, it’s the range of the factory remote. $210 for push start, if I have multiple people order at the same time it’s 200 as my shipping cost is split from distributor.

@jmeitz I think I have this hooked up right, posting this for the benefit of others like me who aren’t 100% comfortable with wiring.

    A few questions:

    - are any of the wires included in evo all module box used at all, or do we just use the TOY6 harness connections?

    - in the last picture, is the small connector to the right of large white connector plugged in to anything? I am assuming not as the connector that would fit in there is taped up

    - do we begin the programming procedure as we are plugging in the black data link harness, or is it after everything is plugged in? The directions say to hold the programming button as you are plugging in the black data link connector

    Thanks!

    Great pics,
Only use what you have pictured. You can discard them, but I leave them in as you paid for them.

Correct, nothing plugs into the white plug.

After the THarness is installed you begin programming for your key fob. Unplug all from module, then go to the 2nd page I sent and hold the button in and plug the black plug in till solid blue, release button. Go from there. About 20-30 seconds to do and you are done.

Here is the harness prior to clean up.

So you’re saying unplug all those connections from the module until after the module has been programmed?

Edit: never mind, I just re-read the instructions. You hook up the black data connector only, program the module and THEN hook up the rest of the connections

    right?

    Almost,
Hold button and plug in black plug. Once the light goes solid blue, release and plug in the other plugs. Push start button twice and wait for blue light to flash. Once it flashes push start again. Then complete.

The longest part of the install is lowering the dash and steering wheel panel :)

Might be a dumb question or covered before. Will the truck stay locked when you remote start it and can you walk away with the key fob and keep it running? IE go back in the house out of range and truck still running and locked.

This took me over an hour as I had not taken this dash apart previously. To do it again I’d say I could do it start to finish ~30 minutes. I took a few pics along the way for anyone who might be interested.

    - Use a 10mm socket to back off the 2 screws of the lower dash located underneath the knee airbag

    - Back off the screw of the small j-shaped panel (underneath the hood latch release handle) and then pull off, which reveals the final 10mm bolt holding the lower dash

    - Turn the steering wheel to the left and right revealing screws that’s must be removed in order to release the lower steering wheel cover (which is where the black data link connector that must be plugged into the TOY6 harness is located). Pull the cover straight down and remove

    - Unplug Black data link connector and plug into TOY6 harness. While holding the learning button on the module, now plug in the black data link cable from the TOY6 harness into the module and following the programming directions provided

    - When the module is programmed, only then can you plug in the rest of the 3 remaining connections. When all the connections are made, test to make sure everything works and then button everything back up

The last 3 pics are of the harness. Kinda shows where everything goes. The white connector circled in the last pic goes to the ECU, and the black connector circled go to the data link connection under the steering wheel/ignition area. Everything else is color coded for the module.

———Remember, only have the black data link connection made until the module is programmed. THEN you can connections!

Very nice, just an FYI, you only need to undo the two right side bolts as the lower dash will pull back far enough for the install.

Dang it...at least I now have a really good idea of how that lower dash fits together.

I liked having everything out of the way, but to do it again I would just remove the two screws behind the steering wheel and drop the dash as you suggested!

so true..I've gotten so much information from this forum, I try to share as much as I can.

As an idiotic side note, I just posted on the main 3rd gen forum about how my hood latch release handle came flying apart as I was re-assembling my lower dash. If anyone on here can help me with some detailed pics of how the handle and the spring go together in the assembly I would really appreciate it. I have 2 pieces in my hand, the handle and the spring. Nothing appears to be broken, I'm just not sure how it all fits together
