    Great information Stick!
    Much appreciated.
I bought a Taco and wanted to keep it as is.
Once you get Off Road, find a site like Taco World and start watching YouTube your head explodes with all the cool stuff you can customize.
Eventually I will get a lift and go bigger but for know a 16-inch wheels with Method wheels may be the way to go.

Any other members have pictures of their wheels and tires?

Pro comp 32 series 16" rims with Toyo 265/75/r16 open country at/2's. This is the largest tire size you can fit on stock suspension on a 16" rim. I happen to like the aggressive sidewall appearance of these tires a lot, and they are as comfortable and quiet as the road tires I replaced with them were.

    Thanks DLRIII,
    Your Quicksand ride is beautiful.
What is the brand of your rock sliders?

Thanks! I agree with you on the beauty of QS.

They are technically steps, not sliders, and they are the OEM predator steps. I think black on QS is SHARP.

Love the Quicksand look with Black wheels.
Those OEM predator steps are expensive but look sick!

Yeah, they were too expensive for me to want to add them after the fact, but since they were already installed from the factory it amounted to only a few dollars a month extra to have them. Good luck deciding on tires man. I love my Toyos but I also really like what I've heard about the Falken wildpeak atw3 and may try them when I eventually wear these out.

Good deal on the OEM predator steps.
I have a Discount Tire Direct close to my house.
They have all the tires members mentioned plus method rims.
Gonna have to go take a look. :spending:

I’d recommend just going to 285’s. I’m running 285/75/16 wildpeaks AT.

If you're going to offroad, stick with 16".

Are those the "Extreme" A/T 2? They do look extra aggressive in that picture.

    Dumb question!!!
Since the 2017 Taco has more sensors than a Space Shuttle, will the tire psi sensors be affected by replacing with New rims and tires?

No, you can also re-use the pressure sensors on your rig. I just had the tire shop swap mine over.

Only difference is that with 10ply tires (if you go that route) you will be running a lower pressure than you would with the stock street tires. That shouldn't cause the sensor to give a "low pressure" warning though.

When I go off road I will air down from about 32 psi to about 22 psi and it seems to be all good.
