I have not seen it yet. I am getting to my emails now.
Regarding shifting issues or people who want the up/down gearing changed it will be part of the custom tuning form

Is there a good way to get a copy of "TechStream"?

That is because there is not a newer version of flash manager yet. That is for downloading new versions of flash manager. I just released the version that has access to that last night.

The tunes you download just like before, they are not in that folder

    OK. Thanks for update.

I am not asking for gear change, it has to do with the downshift clunk coming to a dead stop. Details are in my email, I'll wait for your response via email.

I'll try to lay it out to make sense. Of course I'll video it when I can duplicate it.

    Foot on brake
    Start Truck
Rpms get to 1200 or so (about 3-5 sec after startup)
    Put in D
    Rpms slightly drop
Lift brake lightly to creep forward
Creep maybe 1-2ft, rpms at 1k
Rpms raise to 1200ish and truck surges forward (similar to a quick throttle blip)
Immediately press harder on brake to stop truck
Rpm lower to 1k or so
release brake slightly to begin creeping forward again
    Surges again

    Rinse and repeat

Truck did this until I was in my garage where it's a pretty tight fit and unnerving to make sure the truck doesn't go crashing into my shelves.

I have not noticed this stock or tuned otherwise or even when going in reverse which is obviously more common.

Nor have I noticed it when leaving work where it's pretty much the same except i'm just coasting at idle after leaving my parking spot. No surging. Doesn't happen at stop lights or any other time (which is a good thing).

Hence why i said this might be a rare occurrence but still concerning and possibly dangerous if not prepared for it to happen.

    No need to start name-calling.

And yes, I depress my brake pedal with force when starting the vehicle, shifting gears, and at traffic signals. Especially traffic signals...that way when someone too busy texting to pay attention rear-ends me, I don’t roll into the vehicle in front of me.

I hope you work out your issues.

I had mild surging stock. It was pretty bad with 1.03 when moving from a complete stop in either drive or reverse with a cold engine. It's 98% gone for me on 1.04/87 - what I notice instead is extremely mild surging when rolling slowly after a cold start. Hasn't done it from a complete stop. What appears to be different is that just as there is a surge it feels like the computer catches it. Ultimately it feels like driving a car from the early days of fuel injection.

For me, it's tuned out to an acceptable level. But the reality is this is 2018. These problems have been 100% solved by every manufacturer in every car except in the 3rd gen.

Sounds like you have the opposite of what I and many others experienced and I have faith Mat will get you sorted. For me personally the surging was unnerving stock (unsafe as you say above) and I posted about this frustration on other threads at the time. Then on pretty much all versions of the tune it was the same as stock, with 1.03 perhaps slightly more aggressive on the surge, but 1.04 has literally eradicated this issue that was present from stock onward. So it does sound like Mat knows what to look for and how to fix it given the work he's done on cold idle / start. Good luck!

My 2016 auto did that stock. It surprised me the first time but after that it really wasn't that big of a deal unless someone else were to drive my truck (which they don't).

How long are you waiting between shifting to drive and taking your foot off the gas? My truck will "surge" upon a cold start when shifting from park to drive. If I wait 2 seconds from shifting from P to D, the surge will subside.

I've been running the 1.04 91 for the last couple days and there is a slight hesitation if you hit the gas quickly. The link below is me duplicating the effect but with the truck in park but it does it in drive as well. Just listen closely and you can hear the engine kinda choke before the RPMs go up. Is this normal? Never did it stock.

Didn't happen to me stock or with any of the tune versions.
