Actually man, its the TRD Exhaust that comes stock on the TRD Pro... easy mistake though.

With that said I have the TRD Intake and i love it. I dont get why people take the time to say something negative. Everyone has there own opinion and preference. Even if the TRD Intake does nothing for power, it absolutely does change the sound of the truck. I noticed that right away

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
I thought this was interesting, although it's for full-size pickups (and I'm pretty sure there's a decimal point where there should be a comma):

    Opera Snapshot_2018-05-01_151653_bullyusa.com.jpg

So roughly $2K on accessories, on average. Pfft. Taco owners can do that in the first couple weeks.

Regarding cold air intakes I noticed IMMEDIATE better throttle response with my K&N. No more sluggish take off. I do not off-road so no concerns there. May fab a screen cover for it anyway. I would not say I gained any real horsepower but, after nearly 2 years of use, absolutely better throttle response than stock. When I added my Gibson exhaust I also noticed a slight gain. I would say maybe 10 or 15 added hp total MAX. But I only paid $435 for all of it. I was going to buy a $550 TRD exhaust. Much happier with what I have. The only down side is the loud intake. Fortunately the exhaust balanced it out. I have had at least 10 K&N setups over the years. My daughters Shelby came with it stock and my last 2 Z28's came stock with them. For what I paid I would have sold them for 1/2 price if they did not increase performance no matter how small. The problem is that these engines just don't perform unless you add a tune. I was pissed the first week when I found you could not add headers to the crappy exhaust design. So for my money I know I increased my performance. When I bought it the slug would not spin a tire. I can break the rear loose practically at will now without a tune. That is a FACT.

Yeah.... I tried to talk a deal on a TRD Pro and basically got laughed at hahaha

Luckily I was dealing with the sales manager, I had been working with him for a few days and already gotten 5K off the sticker price. On the last day I basically said "you know its a nice truck and I'll do the deal, but I want different wheels and tires" he said he couldn't which I knew he couldn't. I pushed a little more and kinda made good fun conversation in the mix. Then I said "Alright, i'll do the deal if you will just throw in the TRD Intake and Exahust" he said "Ok but you will have to pick it up and install yourself, we cant install for you or else you'll have to pay for it". So i said done and installed it myself lol

I know this is an ongoing discussion/argument, but I have directly spoken to five people and read at least a similar number of post, by folks that have both the TRD exhaust and TRD performance intake and all are in agreement they noticed improvements in accelerating, as I did. The only folks I see saying that there is no chance of improvement are the ones that haven’t done these modifications. You can talk about butt dynos and real dynos and hopeful imagination all you want, but for me the improvement was noticeable and I have no regrets with the purchase.
