From what i remember there has always been a lag from throttle - responce. It was mentioned many times before its the lack of physical wire going to the throttle body. Ours are electronically controlled. Someone more knowledgable feel free to correct me if im wrong

Simple way to test...revert back to the stock tune and see if it still happens.

Not even necessary. This is normal. Valve timing has been changed on the tune for low rpm and low load (and you can't get high load revving in nuetral). This helps MPG

This is a tiny "side-effect" of changes to valve timing.

I did yesterday and it doesn't happen stock. Only when flashed. I even tried reflashing the TCU and ECU with 1.04 and it still does it.

Hey Matt, this may be way ahead of our time lol. But once those turbos kits drop do you think these trucks can handle e85? Or do you think it will be to corrosive on the certain parts?

Yes it can. Some of the same fuel components are shared with Lexus which I tuned E85 on a while ago. However E85 + boost this truck will get worse mpg than a tundra. I actually did some things a while back working with a friend of mine where you can watch E85 content and other info with your phone. Requires the ECA hardware though

Also MT files by flash manager is still expected today.

New flash manager will also have release version info for tune versions (changes, what's tuned, etc)

Guys, just wanted to come back on here and say how satisfied I am with the tune. It took me a while to get, and a little bit of back and forth with Matt to set up. But man, 1.04 91 octane, is fucking awesome.

I don't want to go crazy here, but it really does feel like Matt went in and gave the truck a 10% boost in power. Down low it seems to idle better, and has quite a bit better pedal response, and if you get the RPM's to mid-high, this thing hauls ass. Now don't get me wrong the truck always felt good once you get it up in the RPM's, now it just feels like someone (Matt) pulled out all the annoying delays, and rev hangs, and stupid shifting. On the highway, I feel like I can easily cruise at 90mph if I wanted to, but I also feel like I can cruise through a neighborhood and not have the constant rev hangs that ETC mode gives you.

Props to Matt and anyone that had a hand at OVTune. Shit's A+.

And if you slowly press down the pedal does it actually accelerate faster (minus the hesitation)? I only ask b/c I see lots of WOT asks on here and agree there are times when you need to get moving against traffic or on onramps or just for fun, but it seems that slowly pressing down on the pedal prevents any hesitation and with the tune it still gets moving quickly but without any hesitation. At least that's been my experience but your mileage may vary...

Just want to say I was able to cruise at 80+ mph in 6th gear at 2k rpm with about 120+ lbs of added weight to the truck. Very, very pleased with that

The hesitation only occurs if I hit the throttle quickly.

Could also have to do with ATRAC... can't tell if your auto or manual, but if it only happens when you hit the throttle quickly and hard then perhaps try the same with all traction control turned off (in neutral, not moving hold that button in for like 5 seconds)

ATRAC is different from TRAC. For the manuals, ATRAC is a separate thing that you can turn on, for example in 4lo, and is similar to say MTS. TRAC is probably what you're thinking of @bshammer0

You are correct, indeed. Just hold the button in 2wd in neutral until a bunch of lights go off on your dash - then you're in rubber burning mode :)
