Y'all are the smart ones not me so I'm trusting the changes you made! Any chance you are planning to offer them as color matched to the aluminum panels?

This info might be in this thread somewhere but I can't find it. Is there a way to mount an awning on the passenger side?

The hinge is always going to be black, but it looks really good with the extrusion in person. And also will look quite nice with the graphics kit.

Just got some photos back from Drew...

Front window, which is right in line with the cab window. Good visibility into and through bed.

So how many of these campers are out in the wild now? I get nervous having to pay for the whole camper up front and wait months for delivery, been around aviation for a long time and seen several companies do the same thing and fold leaving their customers out of a lot of money. I'm interested in picking up one of these campers, just a little apprehensive on paying all up front.

We just brought in an in-house airbrush guy. Expecting to keep him pretty busy.

We are just getting into full swing production, but have 5 leaving the shop this week. Expecting to repeat that for the next few weeks, and continuing to scale throughout the summer.

Also while this is “a startup” camper company. Both of the individuals running GFC own established businesses in similar industries. I don’t know either personally, but i had enough faith in my other products from @wileydavis that i plunked down 5k for this camper. While obviously nothing in life is a sure thing, GFC is the smart money.

Thanks for the reply. Looking to pick one up for my fathers truck and understand the scaling issues with a new company.

    Thanks

Yeah I understand that, but like I said I've seen several aviation companies come and go following the same model and leaving a lot of customers without product. Not knocking on GFC at all or saying they are anything like the companies I've seen....just something I was curious about and think need to be looked at when paying the full amount up front. Looking forward to owning one in the future.

    So 4-5 weeks :)

I’m going to bug the crap out of you at OVX so I can be ready for mine! Speaking of which, any word on the awning mounts or T nuts for the extrusions?

I will be carrying a 270 awning to put on when I go up to Montana in September so I will also be interested to see what they come up with. I may carry some 1x1 aluminum bar just in case they dont have time to design the mounts by then.

Just wondering how many will be frequently taking it in and off?

How sealed is it from the bottom side when removed? Could it be stored outside?

Not totally sure what you are asking... The camper is definitely weatherproof, so even if the inside of the canopy area gets wet it won't be too negatively affected. For long term storage outside, I would snap out the fabric and definitely store the mattresses in a dry place. Seeing as you're in BC, mold and mildew from long term outside storage would be my concern.

If you don't mind clarifying sealing from the bottom when removed, that would be helpful.

I meant outdoor storage like you mentioned sitting on some wooden stands.

Like you said be best to store the fabric and cushions inside for long term outdoor storage. Thanks.

Not sure I have room to lift it to the ceiling in the garage or not.
