Huh, yeah they're who I go to, but if you didn't give them a spec, they probably tried to set it to factory which will be worse with the tc arms. I'd tell them 3.3-3.5 and see how close they can get it.

stupid question. does that bring the tire closer to the cab basically? because mine look super far back and not centered in the wheel well area. or that could be the rims?

That castor should be fine actually. Like I said, anything between 3-3.5 and the truck should be happy. You said it felt floaty, and I know mine feels that way on the road. I just attribute it to fromt bumper, bigger tires and know that the truck wanders a little when you get up to speed. But handles great off road

No. At ride height it will actually push the tire forward a little

Does running into things count as a mod?
So, I posted a request for information about local trails on the TW off road trails thread, but didn’t get much response. Hopefully the locals, you folks, can help out. My wife and I are headed to Flagstaff/Sedona area and were looking to hit some fun trails in the region. No crazy ledges/ waterfall/ boulder crawling, more intermediate type trails. I have a 2016 DCSB off road pro, stock suspension and lift with BFG TKO’s. Thanks

Are you 4x4? If so, I think it is worth it to try broken arrow in Sedona. Gonna be your best bang for your buck if you want a challenging for stock trail. Other than that, schnebly hill will give you some great views (also in Sedona). In flagstaff you can mess around in the cinders for something different, but we are entering stage 2 fire restrictions on Friday, so forest access will be limited to the designated trail system.

If you want some nice views up in flagstaff, just drive up elden lookout road. Pretty much just a dirt road, but easy access from town and nice views from the top. There are some nice dirt roads around the san francisco peaks as well (look for 151 and 418). Neither are 4wd required, but a nice drive that's a little out of the way a bit, and from 418 you can see the grand canyon on a clear day.

Yeah, Mt Elden fire road is a good one. Not a particularly challenging trail but the views from the top are stellar

Greasy Spoon outside Sedona would be a nice trail too, did it this last weekend, definitely doable in a stock 4X4. Probably the only "challenging" trail left other than broken arrow but all the challenging stuff is optional.

Has anyone been through Soldier Pass or Oak Creek homestead recently? I’m wondering if it’s doable in my truck.

Pretty sure soldier pass is still closed until they get their permit system figured out. Haven't ran homestead yet. But I am pretty sure both are doable in a stock 4x4

Homestead is an easy trail, stock 4X can do it no issues. The river is right at the bottom so I take my hammock out there to chill as it normally doesnt have much traffic.

Anyone up in Flagstaff know of someone who needs an MGM 12+ OEM bumper, comes with crash bar and everything. I dont see a lot of guys from up here in the classifieds so I thought I would ask. Also have blacked out 05-11 headlights cut for a retrofit projector and a silver streak mica 05-11 hood.

Thanks man, they could use a little love but are great for anyone wanting to dabble in the art of the retrofit
