    I've been a few times its a lot of fun. Water is the clearest I have ever seen. THe big water is amazing! Great time out there

    our campground was divided by that creek you see in the pictures. when we first got there we had to build a bridge across it ha. tents were on one side and the camp was on the other. here's the bridge we made. And as you can imagine.. at night when a bunch of high school seniors have had a little too much capri sun it was quite the obstacle and many people got wet.

    You wont regret it!! Its an awesome trip!
    The road down to the camp areas is pretty narrow and goes along the edge of the cliff so just try to get there when its still light out

    It's on Fossile Creek near Strawberry AZ. Haven't been there myself but I do wanna go check it out. Note from what I read, they only recently allowed the river to start flowing again and began restoration of the area not all that long ago.

    This looks like a badass place to camp out at. Do any of you guys know any cool spots to camp in or just outside the tucson area?

    Recommend any spots just outside phx area?

    Use recreation.gov, it's really a cool site. you can find and make reservations to campgrounds in national, state, and blm parks all over the country. the site will give everything you need to know about each site too.
