I’m with the OP I love mine. I think it looks great. Gas mileage is certainly acceptable in my eyes and I just plain old enjoy driving it.

My last 3 vehicles were 3/4 Full size trucks (2 gassers and 1 diesel). Don’t miss them at all.

    Toyota did well.

Whew, I was beginning to think I was the only one that actually enjoyed the truck. I’m glad there are at least a dozen of us out there.

Oh believe me, I've done quite a bit. These 3 things make DD'ing it less fun than it could be. Its still a great vehicle and I like it a lot. It shifts just fine and the motor is plenty powerful offroad.

I most like the interior design, how fast the heated seats get warm, and how well it does in the dirt. I have a couple things I don't like, but those are well outnumbered by what I do like.

I think any owner can find a few things they don’t like, but I think 99% owners will agree it’s a great package that is adaptable, has a huge product aftermarket and an enthusiastic base.

For me I love the utility of a truck, strength and off-road capabilities of a Jeep and not a behemoth like all of today’s full size trucks.

*Reliability: The parts and assembly are all solid. The thing doesn't break down, and I have tried! (2010, 113,000 miles)
*Ability: Goes anywhere I want and cannot get stuck, even when I try to get it stuck! (TRD Off Road 4x4)
*Fun: 8+ years of fun (on this truck). It is my third Off Road 4WD Tacoma (2001,2005, 2010).

I love everything about my truck. Every single thing. Just completed a long road trip. On the highway I was getting 24-26 MPG. If I needed power, I would put my foot down and the engine sings. Love it.

Love the looks of the truck. Love the fact of the sizing, easy to park due to that, family fits inside nicely even with a car seat. Gas mileage seems fair, interior is simple and not busy. The support the Tacoma has in the aftermarket world is amazing. Seems very solid and I know the reliability is there. Overall great all around truck for anyone.

I now love everything about my truck, from the heated mirrors to the basic digital odometer to the 5spd manual transmission. I love the aftermarket and community support my truck has, which made fixing the few things I didn't like a snap.

I only wish it wasn't the last of its kind.

    RIP 7513. :(

    handling, and the chassis.

not your common value for a Tacoma, but from an open wheel & kart guy, this truck is the real deal. never had so much fun driving, and it's exactly like that each and every time i drive. for real. :D .and ST Maxx's have never been pushed so hard on tarmac until they met me.

Great looking, comfortable, capable, versatile, fun to drive, Fox suspension, leather seats (with fast heating element), Bluetooth audio, rigid fog lights, cat-back exhaust, skewp, proximity key, unlimited aftermarket, sexy cavalry blue paint, TOYOTA!

It starts. It runs. It does not break. It goes everywhere I want, on and off road, in stock configuration. Every. Damn. Day.

It has all the awesomeness of my previous 2014, PLUS: built in heated mirrors, touch lock/unlock, navigation, atomic clock with auto daylight saving/standard (one less pain in the ass twice a year), better gas milage, black fender flares, awesome offroad wheels come standard...and like other guys have said, it's FUN to drive. I actually go for drives for no reason other than I love this thing.
