Thanks! Carrier bearing drop is already installed. As for the needle bearing, shouldn't that vibe be present at all speeds and go away when 4wd is engaged? Mine is present in 4wd/2wd, goes away when put in neutral, and only occurs between ~10-30 mph (noticed the speed range is larger from previous post). I think I might try the shims next...

 

Shims are your best bet. I have the same vibe. I was curious if the BAMF hangers would put enough angle on the axle to do the same thing and give more droop/ strength.

If you put 3/4 of a grease gun tube in each boot, I believe that's way too much grease. The boots aren't supposed to be packed full of grease. Even the boot kits from Toyota have no where near that much with them. Never seen a cv without an inner clamp either. Too much grease + no clamp = an extreme amount of grease purge

 

I'm curious about the hangers as well...although the shims are much cheaper! That being said, I really don't like the idea of the shim and can see the added benefit of the hangers offroad. May have to inquire with BAMF to see if the angle is changed with their product...

 

I sent him a PM earlier. I don't mind spending the extra money if it has all the benefits and solves/helps my vibes. I want that frame crossbar too. Had my truck so flexed last weekend the door would barely open.
