Full OME 888 medium load kit is in! Getting alignment done Wednesday Tires are Wildpeak AT3w 265/75/16. Gotta love that QS!

 

43,789 miles later. Still loving this truck as much as the first 10,000 miles.

Thanks brah! Tires have been great on and off road and in wet conditions as well. Will probably run these until I gotta switch then consider 33s. Chee!

I was thinking about buying the inserts but had a extra can of plastidip and end up dipping the chrome bumper caps and part of the tail gate yayyyyy or nayyyy?

 

Looks good, I’d say it’s a winner. Buy the tan inserts for the lettering for that extra custom touch.

The highest rated OME coil spring that is designed for the Tacoma is the 886 at 660#/in. There is a coil for the non US market diesel 100 series Land Cruiser that is a 720# that will fit the firm struts but not “tested & varified” ARB. If you are looking for a 700# coil go with a kit is designed for them. Chances are you don’t really need them unless you have steel bumpers, winch, steel skids, steel sliders and a ton of gear on the truck all the time. My $0.02...

 

What did end up doing with the default 600lb coil in 6112? Upgrade to 650 Eibach?
