    Hell's Gate is all about traction and picking the right line. Now potato salad hill on the other hand - THAT would be impressive.


    Speed bumps require at least 4" of ground clearance.


    I'm sure the owner could just blow up their air bags and raise the ride height, but, the mental image of that thing winching off of a parking lot sign over a simple speed bump is more entertaining to me.

    Had a conversation a while ago with a guy who'd undergone gastro-bypass surgery and dropped a bunch of weight. Part of the treatment also involved counseling/therapy. He said the psychiatrist discussed how addiction is often at the root of extreme obesity; further, the addictive tendency he had would reorient to something other than food. The point of the counseling was to help patients redirect their addictive tendencies towards something positive such as exercise and not towards things like gambling or smoking.

    Whether or how much truth there is to this, I don't know. Just tossing it out there. Folks get addicted to stuff that logically makes no sense. Doesn't change that they're addicted.
