Easier install but more expensive. Everything to go bamf is $704 before shipping and install that is.

Well I dropped my truck off at a certain company that I do not want to name yet, but They will have it for a week or so. I miss it already. It’s going to be a long week :ballchain:

Also drove home a new money pit I got for free. Water pump is leaking like crazy but it made it home with out over heating and the motor drives real strong!

Haha not really, just feel like the jbl in this truck is lacking compared to my 2009 truck with jbl.

Gotcha. My truck makes enough other noises that I'm not worried about the stereo lol

The best thing about the stereo is i can turn it off when I need to.

So I got this 1991 Ford Bronco yesterday.. and its got so much stuff I need to do to it. First thing is the water pump is blowing water out of the weep hole like none other, so that needs fixing for sure. There’s a lot of other things but the motor and trans are strong. Now I have two money pits..

Truck is definitely a money pit. Now you have two. I've been searching for a dd and was thoroughly disappointed that I couldn't find anything in good enough running condition for under 2k. I just need a non problematic corolla or civic that'll last me 50k miles without stranding me and apparently they don't exist anymore for less than 5k

Seriously!!! Anything potentially reliable that runs is instantly 5k. My cousin is a sheriff and I think I'm gonna have to have him check police auctions for me

That’s crazy, out here I see old civics/corollas going for like 2k and they are old enough that they will run forever as long as you take care of them.

Picked the truck up yesterday. I had taken it to OEM Audio Plus. They tested the factory jbl system and told me basically they could sell me their reference system but it would be a small improvement to the jbl if I kept the stock head unit. They said basically once I get an aftermarket head unit thats when I could make everything come to life. He gave me some suggestions on how to make the stock sub cover stop rattling because it is very annoying, so I think I am going to try that out first and put the headunit upgrade on a future update. If any audio guys want to see the graph of the stock system let me know I will take a picture of it.

Glad I got this done yesterday before I smashed the shiznit out of my thumb today. Gave it a good bath, used my new DA polisher to get some scratches out, then applied some ammo reflex and mezerna powerlock sealant.
There were some wild pigs/boars at my back fence and my dogs were going nuts, drove the truck back there and when I got out my dog jumped on me as I was shutting the door and I smashed my thumb in the door pretty bad. Hurts like a sob. Hopefully it heals enough by next weekend so I can get this csf radiator installed. Also plan on installing my upgraded splash guards, and trimming/drilling my king resi mounts so I can install my bumper’s frame tie ins. Should be a fun mod day. Won’t be a fun day if I can’t move my thumb.

So how's the ovtune holding up? Any regrets? I'm snagging one from another member and hopefully going to have a tune loaded by the end of next week.

It’s holding up well. Only issue I have noticed is sometimes going up a hill my gauge reads 0 psi not vac and it’s still running close to 14.7. I haven’t emailed ovtune about it yet, but I also wonder if it was because my battery got reset from the audio guys.

Well the 0psi is weird, I don't run gauges. If I don't know it must all be good right ?:anonymous:

And 14.7 is on the lean side, but not dangerous. Nothing a little tweaking to the tune can't fix
