Would be funny to do a homage to toyota in the name, plus our commercials could then flip the letters into toyota.

I would really like to start some kind of Aftermarket Off Road toyota parts business here in the midwest. With so much representation on the west coast, its rough for guys like us out here who have to pay an extra $125+ in shipping. Plus I would really like to offer more options, and designs with consumer needs and wants in mind. Most bumpers look pretty generic or cost $1000+. NWTI is the only company I've seen that offers weld together bumpers and are reasonably priced, but they are pretty generic looking too. I'd like to start small, with assorted accessories and my tailgate skins and then evolve into more serious equipment. Plus when we wheel, its free advertisement for our products. I'm pretty passionate about it, but it's more of a five year goal to get rolling and see if it's a viable, realistic, and accomplish-able goal. I'd like to get a house bought and set up a work space to begin. I want to practice welding some more, get a good free program to design from home instead of work (where I have to jump through hoops to get a file home) and get my precision machining tools out of my spare bedroom and back to be being used! Starting small, and working into a larger operation is my plan. Turn over a few items to buy more equipment and reduce outsourcing and costs, then decide if it's a strong enough market to warrant jumping in with both feet and finding a commercial location. I'd love to not only be a business that makes extraordinary products, but also one that gives back to the community by hosting club meetings, camping trips, etc.

I here ya....but i think it would definitely be a side job type practice to start for a while.....
One offs and things of that nature, but juggling first and second would make it hard to
Keep going. But hey, im down to help how I can.....im insane when it comes to ideas..

Hey guys, new guy here. I see there is a Kansas City thread. I'm out by the Legends area in KCK. Just picked up a new 17 Silver DCSB Sport 2 weeks ago. Will probably stay completely stock for a couple years since I haven't had a car payment since 2008 and this will be a shock to the finances. Its my first Toyota, however my brother has an 07 FJ, mom has a 16 Black DCSB Sport and dad has a 17 White access cab Sport. Driveway gets ridiculous when we all gather.

If your mom ever gets tired of that hood scoop, let me know and I’ll swap my flat hood for it.

Same as usual? Last Sunday of the month? One of the guys I met last time we had a non-4x4 meet said we could use the parking lot of his(or someone he knows, can't remember) Donut Shop for a meet up.

Last Sunday of this month no good for me, but I'm all for meeting new people. I'll be in Des Moines for a graduation party. Going to Colorado the weekend before.

Anybody got experience checking the trans fluid on a 3rd gen? Thinking I should get to it before too many miles and make the dealer fill it if its low.

Seems like it would be easier to check it myself than try to get the dealer to do it. Anything off needs to be in the service history though. I'll see if I can get them to do it first.
