Me too. I would really like to plan a camping trip at some point. I want some trails with camping in the middle. I also want to check out the rest of the park when we go there again next. I also want to check out tuttle creek.

 

Ordered my RAM mount for the A-Pillar mod today. Got a bolt set from @motionridr8 yesterday too.

 

I just went to my local Lowe'sand found the right stuff you can also hit up a fastenal.

 

It was only $3 shipped.

I didn't have the RAM mount yet, so I got impatient and ordered the bolt early, then I couldn't wait any longer for the mount and ordered it earlier than I told my wife I was going to.

 

All of my RAM mount came in but the 1" ball. :/ Should be here sometime between today and Monday, so I'm assuming Monday since the last update said it was in FL...

 

I just got my D-rings to mount in the bed well the hole in the d-ring isn't big enough so now I need to go get a step bit and drill the hole out bigger dag nabbit. Once you get that phone mount done you'll love it, one of my favorite mods to date!

I also got my RAM mount in, but didn't think to grab a photo before work. I got it positioned where I can take video with my phone next time we go 4x4ing.

 

I need to throw what pictures and videos I DO have from our last trip and update this thread. Too much going on! I haven't even had time to grab the last two dimensions I need to finish my tailgate reinforcement design.

For now, I think I'm going to do my best to put off the mod urge till after I buy a house. Right now that's priority number 1 and as much as I'd like to make my rig more capable its also my DD and I still have 3 years of payments ahead of me. Once I get a house then comes a welder and a pile of steel. For now, my truck is plenty capable of doing some light to intermediate(within reason) offroading which is what I'm comfortable with currently. I'm sure my wife will appreciate it greatly. I'm considering cutting my CO trip down a few days just to save some money and keep my wife happy, and possibly postponing it till later in the year. We'll see how it goes. I'll start a log of savings and begin saving for the lift, but I'll also keep an eye out for any deals and jump if the right one presents itself. I think this is probably the best for now. So my build thread may be a bit dusty next time I post in it.
