Life sure does have bad timing sometimes,..

Ifen I got my wife car parts for our anniversary I’d get cracked up side the head. She’s been getting me shootin related items over the years, except this time it was our 25th, she asked what I would like and followed it up with “if you say shootin stuff I’ll crack you in the head.”

Well,.. the bum is dying however he has been a jamoke, I would say spend the time with yer husband and you will be there fer yer mom when you’re available.

Maybe yer Bo does have some truck parts but they wouldn’t fit on the table.

And we're having the exact opposite. was almost 90 over the weekend. Snow above 6000 feet yesterday and today... barely reaching 60* at the house...

Thanks! (I think!) That could be problematic. We've been to LV 3 or 4 times since we've moved here (buying home furnishings etc). And now my all time fave donut place from New Orleans is opening up shop at the Cosmopolitan!

 

Same here I'm in the High Desert of Socal and last week it was near 90° . Now it's 50° , cloudy and rainshowers with occasional T storms today

I hate people...

Theres a few I like, but in general people are stupid... Case in point:

Apparently theres a new nurse on staff (or at least thats new to caring for mom's husband...) His meds put him in deep sleeps (cancer drugs plus pain meds...) She reported him as 'unresponsive' this morning which set off a chain of phone calls to his immediate family... A few hours later, he's now 'responsive' and not dead yet... (yes, that sounds horrible, but Im trying to emphasize the nurses idiocy.)

Im still going on vacation. Been in contact with mom. My plan is to go there after he's passed (whenever that may be) and deal with whatever she needs. They have a 50 acre working farm with blackberries and hair sheep (think angora), a passel of chickens and some guinea fowl too... Mostly I need to be certain one particular son of his is taken care of. And by 'taken care of' I mean he's got all his shit out of their house, hasn't taken any thing that doesn't belong to him and that he understands that he's never to set foot on the property again. Sadly, I think his two brothers feel the same way. (he's that weird middle child)

I like guns. I target shoot, hunt, buy/sell guns. Ever meet someone thats far too much into guns and knives that its borderline scary? Yea. Thats this guy. He's mooched off his dad (my moms husband) all his life. He cant even keep his own home clean. (I once was there and had to use the bathroom. I kid you not, there was at LEAST a dozen empty toilet paper cardboard rolls in the trash. I mean, seriously?! Can you not take out the fucking trash?)

Anyway... thats my family's skeletons and drama. I think its day-drinking time.
