True it is ruined, yet go into a print house in tijuana or paint facility in mexico and see how long you last breathing in the fumes...it burns your eyes and makes your nose hairs feel as if they are disintegrating. It does suck for small things like spray paint, but it was banned due to causing workers serious health issues.

Interesting. Guess I'll have to be re-doing that panel.

I use a full on closed circuit mask at work some of the chemicals I work around will either kill you,get you high or just F you up. So I take no chances and carry a 20Lb oxygen tank attached to my mask.

It's like living a some goofy country where everything is just slightly broken so you can't enjoy it right. I saw CA spec brakleen, probably just pressurized water haha. With proper PPE the paint is just fine, that's why no other state follows CA's over-reactive legislation.

I’d be really curious to see a study down the road if all this Prop 65 bullshit has really decreased the cancer and birth defect rates in The Peoples Republik of California compared to other states or if it’s just another way to expand legislation and fees.

My favorite was a Prop 65 warning I saw on a parking deck in San Diego.

“Back in my day son there were carcinogens as far as the eye could see.”

If nothing else some the SMOG laws worked well enough. LA has decent air quality now.

I'll take air pollution over people pollution. Them L.A. commutes are a bitch whenever we visit.

I dunno about that...I mean I dislike both equally but I've seen photos and talked to my grandparents of the 50s - 60's Los Angeles area and the smog was so bad that you couldn't see the sun sometimes even on a non-cloudy, "clear" day. Mountains lining the horizon just beyond the city were non-visible. It was really bad back before the started implementing emissions laws. They tell me they always laugh when they hear people complain about smog now, because it's nowhere near as bad as it used to be 40+ years ago.

As big of a pain in the ass as getting smogged in this state is, I can understand why they do it (because of the population). If it weren't so people crowded though, we wouldn't have had that problem so I guess the two go hand in hand.

If you read the instructions it will say to apply second coat within x amount of hours or wait x amount of days. The paint starts off gassing when it starts to cure after so many hours. This causes the wrinkled up finish.
    How do I know? guess...........
