I mean I know they wear out your OEM struts/shocks but those will be replaced with all new shocks with the good lift anyways. Just tired of the spare plus I want my wheels on there

    Opinions needed.

    I have heard good and bad things about these. Will these bars actually hold up with the weight of a RTT when wheeling? I love the idea, but it doesn’t seem like there is enough beef to them to hold up with a RTT while the bed is flexing off road.

    The updated version of these hi rise crossbars are *supposed* to be able to hold the weight of a tent. I just don't know how much abuse they will be able to take with that much weight on them.

    I personally didn’t think they would hold a ton but, I have put a lot more weight on my Thule cross bars than they are suppose to hold and no issues. So for price they would be worth a try.
