Iphone music skipping like a CD

I've had the same issue. I'll first try rebooting the head unit by holding down the power knob. If it still acts up, I reboot my phone.

 

i have a few thousand songs on i tunes been using the cable on my 13’ and goin on a yr and 1/2 on my 17’ never had my phone do this is the factory deck? any mods to the usb port?

I have that cubby but mine is low tech - no charging apparatus

 

Its ok, its not that good anyways
