I guess i'll put the rings back on. I also thought the rings look good but something was off. I'm not sure I ever got used to running the wheels with the lettering facing out.

I might flip the letter in. I also lifted the thing and the space to wheel ratio seems to be off. It isn't quite as aesthetically pleasing. Maybe time for 33's?

I dropped of my 08' Tacoma this morning for the new frame under warranty. While it's in there i have them tossing on some bilstein 5100s with the front set at .85" and some BFG KO2's 265/75R16. I was told it should take about a week.

It was my understanding that as long as it will roll out, you can take whatever aftermarket items you want... As long as it is before the insurance adjuster determines value. After that, it can be considered insurance fraud.

So say you had aftermarket wheels/tires that you wanted back, you would need to swap those for oem or beater wheel/tires. And that would need to be before insurance gives your truck value (if it ends up being totaled).

That's the bad thing about adding things to your truck. They are really worth more to you, not the insurance company. If you decide to leave anything on the vehicle then make sure you have receipts for the adjuster. Chances are, those items will get depreciated in value. The best option is always to remove as much as you can before the vehicle is appraised. A good adjuster will work with you and give you time to remove items. As mentioned, a vehicle sold as scrape needs the basic factory items, so you can't leave a hole where the stereo used to be and no speakers. That said, you could negotiate with the company to check how much is taken out for items missing.

He was trying to make a yellow, but it had turned red long before he got anywhere near close to being through it. He was probably flooring through as most people would do to beat the red. I looked left as i normally do since i occasionally hit the median curb and noticed the truck was going fast and then tried flooring it to get out of the way. He was going anywhere from 40 to 55 mph and hit me at a slight angle which caused my truck to spin quite fast. I dont even know if i 180'd or 540'd. a page or 2 back has pixs from when it happened in the intersection
Edit: i had a green left arrow, everyone else had come to a complete stop left and right. Aside from dipshit mc250

I made myself a wireless Qi charging Ram ball phone mount. I could not find one so I bought the Ram ball components and a thin Qi charger. I glued the charger to the Ram holder and made a bracket that uses one of the radio bolts. It works... a bit cumbersome but it is solid

I did my brakes this weekend. I am not sure what components the dealer put on my truck before I bought it but they sucked! I got E-line slotted rotors and TRD pads. I had a bit of trouble getting the drivers side caliper off so I bought a 1/2 breaker bar and that did the trick. I broke in the pads using the instructions that came with them.... a bit of a pain in the bun to break them in but it seemed to work. So far so good...

There is a noticeable difference is normal stopping. I have not had to hard stop yet.
