    And what is the point of this thread?

    Gays and lesbians are allowed in the military now and women are entering combat roles.

    If this doesn’t affect you why comment or be concerned about it? If you have a son in the Boy Scouts and he asks why, tell him it’s the 21st century and the morals and life skills the BSA teaches would benefit girls as much as boys and that the days of mommy barefoot in the kitchen are over.

    I was a Boy Scout (made Eagle Scout), but I don't have nearly enough knowledge of what the Girl Scouts do as an organization to offer an informed (shocking I know :D) opinion. Times change, who is to say this is a bad thing?

    I believe we already had a thread on this a long while ago when it was first announced. I don't remember it going all that well. :locked: it down.

    Indeed, females will become Eagle Scouts, soon.

    This starts in Cub Scouts June 1, Boy Scouts Jun 1, 2019.

    Females are also “permitted” to do anything in the military, as well as the work place.
