    Look I'm all for it as long as standards don't drop. Otherwise eagle scout means nothing. The easier we are on people the less validity "accomplishment" holds. College is like the new high school and there are lower physical standards for women in the military. I'm totally pro equality, but let's make sure it's equality, not special accommodations.

    I don’t think you’re understanding me. I don’t care if girls are admitted into the Scouts of America and “Boy” is dropped from the title. Doesn’t bother me either way. I saw it in the news and skimmed on to the next article. I also don’t care if there is a Girl Scouts. Has no affect on my life whatsoever.

    Girl scouts fell asleep at the wheel- for decades. Ever heard if the Girl scout Gold award? Most have not.

    Meanwhile an Eagle Scout can go on college application, and resume.

    Besides, BSA created Campfire Girls in thw 50’s and spun it off. Also, every BSA summer camp has high school age female staff members; Boy scouts Of America is an equal opportunity employer.

    That’s true, but I also see no reason for anyone to care if Boy Scouts wanted to stay only boys and Girl Scouts wanted to stay only girls. Everyone just needs to let everyone else live their lives and do what they please without getting into their business.
