$1500 for lift setup

What is the best lift system I can get for $1500?

I need the following:

-2-3" Lift
-Wheels
-UCA's

I am open to keeping my 265's and stock wheels if I can. I actually would rather keep my 265's if I can do to mileage and power. I'm open to 285's and it would be nice if so much wouldn't suffer.

What do you all think, recommend? Can I do it with this money and if anyone has any pictures that would help big. Do 265's look good with a 2" lift?

 

OME lift and Light racing UCA. not super expensive and itll work.

 

but would the OME look good with 265's? I don't want it to look out of proportion. Also what wheels will fit my budge with an OME lift and LR control arms?

 

outta proportion as in make it to tall for the tires? and the wheels is just a search thing man. I dont look at wheels often. If you are wanting a lower lift but just to fit the tires you have look into some Bilstein 5100's adjustable. Then you could just get a 1.5 inch AAL in the rear or something.

 

I'm looking for better performance offroad, something that will take and absorb the bumps better. I hate stiff lifts like the fabtech I had on a dodge ram once.

I want it to work like the ford raptor videos you see.

 

Are your Leafs good or do they need replaced? Old Man Emu is probably in the bag for your lift unless your choosing to go with blocks just for the looks. Light Racing UCA's will get your camber fixed for 465, which I don't think you will need with blocks. 700 for OME and that will leave you with very little left after taxes for wheels but thats doing it right...right?

Thats true but if the leaf springs are bad why would you put new shocks on and blow em up?

 

How much for wheels and a lift that will work like a true perforamance suspension and not just looks? Am I better waiting or looking for something like FOX or ICON, etc...I was hoping to keep it cheaper by keeping my new 265/70/17" BFGs.....I'm at $1079 with OME..

Leaves $500 for wheels...I'm open to used. Is ICON or FOX, King, etc...worth the money over OME, is it that much better of a suspension?

 

If you want your truck to function like the Raptor, keep saving. That'll cost you AT LEAST 5 grand, not including some heavy duty fab work/labor hours

 

OME is the best bang for your buck, your better waiting for OME, leafs if you need them, UCA's and wheels....ones that you want, not one that you can afford. Any shock is going to need maintenance or replaced around 50K to 80K miles so you can buy a badass shock and just rebuild it, or buy sealed maintenance free set every 50K for a lot less.
