How do you have a broken jaw if shoulder was point of contact?

 

I forgot the NHL playoffs are on, I've been too busy watching Rasmus Dahlin highlights and NHL scouts gushing over him. /jk
But seriously thank god the Sabres finally won the lottery. With Eichel, Mittelstadt and Dahlin I think we should start seeing some better hockey from the Sabres.

 

Yeah, I heard about the broken jaw this morning. Apparently more contact with the head than the camera angles showed. Don't think the head was his intended target but every player IS responsible for his action whether intended or not. So he may be fined & suspended for this. I'm a big Capitals fan since we first got this team and really hate the Pens, but I gotta believe they'll hold him responsible this one

 

He might get a game at most, it was close enough that they likely won’t give him more considering the blatant dirty stuff that has only gotten one game from other teams in the playoffs.

 

I agree. I'm not 1 of those dudes who thinks Wilson is a no-talent goon. He has proven his worth and I know he is a big strong kid who plays his role well. And it's working. I do think he's crossed the line a bit but that is up to the league at this point. And that hit isn't the reason the Pens lost. Just felt like Caps wanted it more. Pens are making a lot of mistakes and paying the price. See what happens in Gm4.

Take it easy was a joke! I agree with the whole take responsibility for your hit deal just like you have to be in control of your stick. I would hate to lose Wilson for game 4 but we shall see what the league hands down?

Nice goal. I hated how Letang played Backstrom but still a good patient play for him and great (double) shot by Ovi. You can tell Ovi is giving it his all in this series.

I'm fine, I'm just making a point. I just don't see how Doughty gets suspended for what he did and I feel both of Wilson's were worse and more intent. And some of the arguments to defend his hits are just funny to me. But if he can get away with it, then I guess it is what it is.

 

When the rest of the team puts up a converted touchdown goaltending is optional.
