Now that spring compressor ain't fuckin around. Looks much safer and stronger than the normal contraption thing. Although it looks like the adjustable 6 point bolts are taking all the force?

Finally got my bumper it was a nightmare. It’s missing the plastic fog light covers and the fog light kit was a Waste I should have just purchased the lights but at check out it was sold as a whole kit. Hats off to Marie at Headstrong for being calm as I vented over the delivery as I literally had to go me a parked semi to get my bumper. Hopefully she can get me the missing parts so I can put this thing on it’s kinda heavy to return lol.

Yeah the 6 arms that extend into the spring, are taking all the weight, but they are pretty beefy. Just have to take your time and make sure everything is lined up and adjusted before you start cranking down on it.

Few days ago, but finally got around to adding a hidden, behind the grille light bar. Also took apart the switch to change out the backlight LED from green to white and swapped out the resistor because it was wayyyy too bright out-of-the-box. Oh and relocated my USB/Aux and added a 12V socket to the glovebox to keep that whole area of the center console cleaner and keep the stuff that used to be plugged in out of view.

Tan under the oil filler is normal (for Tacoma anyway).
Mileage drop in winter is from the atomizing agent the refineries put in the gas. So also normal.
    Rear bumper fix... Replace it.

@ManBeast sorry to hear about your wreck. Looks pretty gnarly, but I'm glad you're able to walk away relatively unscathed.

On another note, forgot to post that I installed my Mobtown Offroad front bumper the other day, and added my Factor 55 flatlink! Lights will arrive this weekend and be promptly installed.

Love the new bumper! Your first pic reminds me that I need to get a square awning for working on my truck. Which one do you have and do you like it? I've seen a ton that are priced great but alot of them get crappy reviews.

I have the store brand one from dicks sporting goods! It was on sale for $40. This thing is NOICE. I've used it camping countless times and around the house as well, and it's holding up great. Our most recent camping trip, I left it up overnight with 15-20 mph winds. It was staked down, and held up great. No damage at all.

I’m sorry to see the truck damaged but glad your not. All this talk of stripping the truck and selling stuff? If it’s totalled why not save the parts for another Tacoma? I hope this all works out for ya sorry you have to go through it all

If your just talking about a pop up cover “easy up” we have an easy up brand one, probably 20 years old, and one from Walmart. The one from Walmart has half up great and is easier to put up and take down. Idk if they still make it or not it is the Walmart “first up “ brand. We even got the bug net that goes around it

Buy a house with a garage? They’re cheaper out away from the city
