Drove to Michael's (the crafts place, not the homes of either my friends named Michael, LOL) to get poster board for the puzzles, and ended up next to this on the way home...

One of my recent Uber drivers (like March 2018) had a 2017 Toyota Corolla LE and the damn thing already had about 71K miles on it! 71K miles is absolutely nothing for a well-maintained Toyota product, but that much on a year-old vehicle that's been financed is not gonna help resale value!

 

We've all heard of (and inadvertently created) soda bombs...

While sorting non-alcs, I came across a severely dented can of Coke and decided to just drink it. The top was pushed out like that before I opened it...

I opened the pop top and the thing not only made a sound like a shotgun going off and scared the shit out of our poor bartender, but popped me right in the palm of my hand which stung like a son of a bitch...

One of the many reasons dual-zone (two separate systems, not one A/C and one furnace/air handler) is so awesome...

Everyone knows that cold air falls and hot air rises, right? Well if you didn't then you do now! Since it is always going to be slightly warmer on the 2nd floor than on the first floor, I prefer to keep the thermostats within two degrees of each other on hot days like today.

Yes, I have a 2 story with a full basement. One hvac system handling all of it and it sucks. Hot upstairs, freezing downstairs.

I try to close the basement vents in the summer to pump more cold air upstairs. Then in the winter a bit of reverse. Doesn't help much. So annoying.
