Please, I’m not that tacky. I was thinking something along the lines of the bright gloss anthracite you see occasionally. Super metallic, almost like a hint of bronze or gold in there. Can’t find a picture right now.

 

Considering they sell brand new for like 780 for a set of 4 or 720 for new but blemished in powder coating. It is insane to me that people try to get over 600 for used

 

I mean maybe you save some on shipping? was 16.40 to ship one to my home in Flagstaff. Could post in the CA thready as CA residents have to pay taxes as well, so that would save them some money?

 

It all depends on how the people treat them. I don’t see how a meticulously cared for used set w/ no blemishes would be worth drastically less then factory blemishes.

Some people DGAF about their wheels, others literally wax them and wash them weekly. I’m somewhere towards the middle. This is what they look like right now:

Anyways I am still weighing my options, the set I really lust after are unicorns you would probably have to go to Japan for and restore. Other options just aren’t doing it for me to make me dump the F5’s so maybe I will shop around for powder coating.

 

Can’t quite tell if this is the color I was talking about because I am on my phone. Maybe ease up on the sparkle a bit and a lighter silver.

 

Not having a center cap would destroy my will to live.

Take that one up with Vin at SCS, he’s dead set on the no center cap look. I can dig it, a lot of center caps just look meh.

It’s on my list of things to do, believe me. My work area is lousy for on-truck painting and I may be obsessive but I’m sure as shit not pulling the axles.

Also looking for some 285/70/16’s (or close) in a KO2... I have the stock tires and wheels from the Off-Road. Those will be off the truck as soon as my Ray10’s arrive. They have 25K miles on them and Discount offered $100 bucks trade-in value, so they do have quite a bit of wear left on ‘em.

Anyone got a set sitting around they wanna let go of before I buy some ones?
