I've still never been. As a Cali native I'm ashamed of myself.

LOL, right there w/ you, first time. not bringing boards though. If it wasn't for the visit to my GF daughter further up north, still wouldn't have been there.

Yeah I'm looking forward to hitting up both spots. My cousin has a friend that lives blocks from steamer lane so we'll be there with locals that know the best areas.

    It happens

    Mike we got options!

    And More options

Man there is still sunshine after 5:30 just saying. We can set something up when swells start materializing...It is the slow time of the year, but oc will pick up swell mo betta than SD

I'm usually off work around 3 if not earlier. Makes for great wind chop slop in the afternoon. I paddle out with anything over 2 ft in the water just to do it. Some of my best seshes are solo in hb with fun shoulders and not another soul in the water.

Haha ain’t no excuse! I could leave at 530 and then be stuck in traffic for an hour going down that way. Or I could just hop on my bike, and bike less than 2 miles and surf the river jetties by my house

I am familiar with the parking lots called the 5 and the 405 so no worries...i live a mile from the beach and have been super busy n not surfing so I have a few excuses as well. But my arm has been a major detriment and working on the truck. It has been hard to let it reat completely. I will be back to 100% soon though.

I gotta decide if I wanna buy a longboard or a SUP first. Gonna need something for the soft, mushy and flat days.

lol. I need something to paddle around on. It's one hell of a workout. Probably wouldn't ever take it to surf, but just paddle around the harbor or shit like that for a workout when theres no waves out
