Did you go to the festival?
Pretty quite this year go figure.

I hand washed Saturday and did some frame rot inspection Saturday.
The known bad spots were doing well but found a hole in the front cross member.
I’ll collect a new frame after running it thru another winter.

It does and it doesn’t but either way she’ll be good to go for a while and the maintenance won’t be for nothing.
But it won’t come back as clean the body and paint are close to perfect. 2 small dents and 2 doordings that need wet sanding.
Not sure if I wanna use Handys or Heritage? who would be the lesser of 2 evils.
Anywho pretty sad bought here in 84 and this is the first year we didn’t at least watch the maple festival parade.

We should venture to like Hill Farmstead even though I don’t much care for the owner.. but I’m sure we could map out a route that would use dirt roads and off the beaten path!

Just found this thread and figured I'd say hi! New member/Vermonter here located in the woods of Middlesex. Nice to see such a strong local community. So far have been given good advice from MadRiverTaco and found Simon's Mom's recommendation for Bailey Springs & Chassis who will be doing my AAL and slapping on some new shocks and springs for me. Thanks all!

    Baileys rocks!!
    Been using them for years.
Pretty funny to see our little trucks in the midst of the big guys.
They use kids gloves with our trucks. They did my 5100 level and align. Also all my broken rear spring repairs. They are awesome about emergency shit also broken springs accident stuff.
Had a mis hap and showed up with no appt a few times and they got me in. Also have seen people their just to have them look over a vehicle before purchasing.
Anyway I don’t work for them but would definitely recommend them.
Kind of a long haul for you but they don’t rush and do awesome work.
    Welcome to the Vermont forum.

Hahaha my stepdad is always sending business to them from Lucky's so they had no issue working on my truck on my stepdads behalf ha. Actually use air guns on just about all the work that I do on it when I can

I work in Williston. Went over there and spoke with one of the guys. Lots of big trucks and steel. Seemed like they knew they're stuff...glad I found 'em

Time for a valve cover gasket and Pcv valve. Pretty happy with my oil and change intervals. Clean and prep for a new one now. Pretty glad I only leveled and didn’t lift the truck. I’m 6’2” and still had to climb to do this.
