What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Have heard on average 3/4 to 1 inch up front compared to OR. Was not looking for a lift really, wanted the added performance from them first and foremost.

It’s good, not great. You need to “pre chill” them & use block ice to get the most effective use out of them. I needed more room for ice & the next biggest Ozark is $200+ last I looked, so I went with the RTIC & their summer sale. I paid less than the similar Ozark.

 

Never mattered to me as long as the carpet was either close cropped or shaven.

 

Yep.....we didn’t get a color tv since they were new and expensive until ‘64.
Another old fart story.
We lived in Houston out by Hobby airport....back then there were only big open fields around the airport, not like today, apartments, business buildings etc.
We lived on a dead end about 1200 yds from Hobby. Any time a celebrity or politician etc came to Houston they flew in to Hobby. So when people found out someone famous etc was coming in they would drive out into the field and line up on Broadway street, like a tailgate party to see who would be cruising by, slowly shaking hands etc.
I was in the second grade, President Kennedy came to Houston.
I remember being like shocked when I saw him since he was in full color, bright eyes and light colored hair, not like he was on B/W tv, dark haired....I was less than 6 ft away from him when he came by in a convertible.
I expected him to be as I always saw him....black and white. ; )
He was shot in Dallas the next day.

Installed my CBI rear bumper this weekend. Happy with it so far!

 

Looks great, which bed rack is that. Like the structure look it has.

 

It's an All Pro modular rack. I cut it down 2" so I could get my RTT in the garage...haha.

 

$2.44 a gallon? That's some cheap gas!

 

Sigh. I'm planning on putting my RTT on top of my Leer cap when it gets here next week. I realize I will not be able to get it in my garage ( even with 3 car garage I have to park outside ) and I can't get into my parking deck at work. I'll be taking it on/off per use. hmm, I might have to learn to weld and build a rack on top of my 4 wheeler trailer.

 

Not only do we have to search stuff for people, now we have to read to them too?
