I can work on that. I’m still finishing up this semester so I’m pretty busy and updates may be slow until the end of the month.

If you’re in sd or willing to make the drive down, pelfreybilt is another good option.

Looks like 2 groups are going... One on the weekend of the 20th and one the weekend after on the 27th.

 

I think the 27th works better for me... shit I'm going to Sequoia the following weekend.

After my OVTune I am loving it more than ever now. I was pretty much stock when you guys saw me last, I have made some progress/mods since then. I wont lie I still miss my 4.0 and that 5 speed trans but this 3rd gen is pretty awesome. Hope you can make it out!

 

Go on the weekend of 7/20... it looks like @Tombiology70 will be going that weekend as well.

@dumontrider You spotted me on the 405 the other day lol ,since your local come out for the trip!

 

The Deadman campgrounds are usually pretty full around that time of year. I wouldn't expect to be able to fit more than a few trucks, or maybe scatter them around the campground. That said there is a ton of good trails around that area where you can disperse camp if you don't mind not having bathrooms etc. I use to work at the fire station half mile from the Deadman campgrounds.

I would highly recommend anyone planning on attending this go online and order an Inyo National Forest map. Every area you guys are discussing is on that map.

Thank you, I had suspicions about that. I have already eye balled a few spots to camp that are not a designated campsite so to say. This is a off grid camping trip so Im ok with no bathrooms. But being near the creek sure would be nice so I could at least filter water. '

 

Has anyone been shooting out around there? Might try and get some pew pew time in as well...

 

Yep, tons of BLM land around there. Perfectly legal. Im too scared to bring my AR out now a days but I might bring a few toys.
