What's going on everyone. I've been spending sleepless nights waiting for my Tacoma to come in. I figured if I was going to buy it new I might as well get the one I like. I've never owned a new car. Unfortunately, they're not making any new 2010s right now so I'm forced to wait while they locate one for me. It's really hard to make a good car deal when they have to hunt it down for you with a $500 deposit :( Sucks cause I love to negotiate.

I've just been informed that it will be here Tuesday and it couldn't come soon enough. I feel like I'm waiting for my first child. Funny thing is I really am. Wife is due with Twins (boy/girl) in September. Talk about a lot to think about. Can't believe I was able to talk her into a DC Taco as a baby mobile. After the future mods she might regret her decision :)

Anyways, if you guys can think of anything I should have the dealer do before taking possession (TSB's etc..) and finalizing this deal... I'm all ears. Can't wait to finally join this bunch. Wish me luck.

Congrats on both babies(twins/truck).. You will be happy with the purchase. Mine is used for family functions and carseat fits fine in the back.

Truck comes with 2 year or 24,000 full service/maintenance deal and typical warranty. Would you guys recommend getting the extended warranty or not? If so, what is a fair price? Also, what does a driveline shutter feel like when you come to a stop? (extra vibrations?) My truck comes in on Wednesday and I'm at least going to put it through a extended test drive before finalizing. Any suggestions on things to look for while driving? This site can both excite you and scare the cus out of you.

The current deal with Toyota is a full coverage 2 year / 25,000 full service maintenance deal. Also you want to make sure that the current $950 off value package has been applied.

Congrats on the purchase. I just got my 2010 last Monday night and I love it...
