Square pegs eventually fit the round holes if you hit them enough! :D

    Wow, she's a keeper!!!

My wife doesn't understand vehicles (she can't even drive a stick!), so the best I would get from her is a license plate frame. lol It's ok, at least she loves the Taco. I have to keep reminder her that it is MY vehicle that I let her drive.

    @RobP62 @ToyoDrew

I’m gonna buy the square pods from @crashnburn80. I love that they are blacked out just like the morimotos and they apparently are just as bright if not brighter.

I haven’t seen these on anyone else’s truck yet so that may be an extra plus. As you know I like to be a little different :D

As always I appreciate you guy and your input. I feel like you’re my second family

I wish we could all get together for beers one day!

I'm sure they'll look great and you'll be happy with them...plus I'm looking forward to more pics & reviews since it's something new. ;)

It just might be possible to meet up! Once I move to the STL area, I'll actually be able to make road trips again! I've already been scouting spots around lower Missouri (the Ozarks) for a couple family camping trips and to really test out my LEDs. :D

Hannah and I have driven to North Carolina and Virginia before. Maybe if you get down towards TX we can get together. Hannah has family in Richmond Virgina so maybe we could all meet there once.

Yep, I have those too. I wasn’t joking when I said I had all of them. They are brighter than Morimoto, but not even close to OffRoadTown.

Not just as bright, not a little brighter, much brighter.

Damn this thread is hard to keep up with. wanted to update everyone on those cougarmotor LED's I bought. they arrived today, I had the low beams and fogs installed in under 30 mins - it was surprisingly easy and didn't have to move anything or use any tools.

anyway, you guys are right, they are SUPER bright and soooooo much better than stock. it's not dark yet, but I could tell a night and day difference in my garage. I can see what you guys are talking about with the fogs though. they do throw light all over - but honestly, i'm ok with that. I am on the back roads quite a bit.

so far, i'd recommend! again, I have nothing to compare it to, but I can assure you that I am not at all disappointed.

Great to hear...but who recommended the Cougarmotor LEDs in THIS thread???

Out of 2,693 posts, you read the four that mentioned Cougarmotor?!?!

It seems that it wasn’t the forum that persuaded the purchase or that he saw on here that they were recommended. He had done a ton of research on his own and found that those had some of the highest customer ratings and reviews.

I shared my thoughts on these and what has been found to be the best and left the desicion to him.

Honestly, I haven’t seen anyone purchase these yet, so I am curious to hear and see the performance of these. Honestly, glad someone purchase them lol

Lol honestly, I probably would have never purchased these, but these have been brought up before on here. Out of all the so-called "top rated list" these are ones that have not yet been purchased or shown on this thread yet. So I am a little curious

the 3300+ highly satisfied Amazon customers recommended it - on here there were only 3 people mentioning them prior to me buying them. what was mentioned in this thread specific to cougarmotor LED and to me was that they will be WAAAAY better than stock and i'd sure to be satisfied going to LED.

now if someone else comes to this thread and tries to search through the 2700+ posts they can actually see some sort of review on here to solidify they work, they're better than stock and initial thoughts are extremely positive. So far, with a 3yr warranty (even if cougar goes belly-up, Amazon will honor it and give me something comparable), and the output and everything combined i'm extremely happy.

the OP is soooooo old and out of date everything has changed. this thread is impossible to keep up with or even try to use as research. that's great everyone loves their opt7, and hikari, but now others may be able to benefit from knowing there is another option to consider. :)
