Oh yeah. It was worth all that bullshit and time and effort to restore this Millermatic 180.

Glad I didn’t listen to you guys :D

Just have to re-clear the door, put back the handle, and it’s ready to go. I’ll be polishing it and putting some wax after the paint and clear had an adequate amount of time to cure.

A reminder of the state it was in right after I bought it.

This is why I didn't go into the automatic business. I didn't want to do that. "Oh look another Jeep to put a spacer lift on" I need to go to the Badlands some time and count the amount of Jeep's there are. Gaurantee i'll lose count

I’ve been on the backside of walker. I usually stay out of the ORV park cause there’s lots of people and it’s really rocky. I’ve only got a dualsport so it can’t handle the harsh stuff as well as a dirt bike. The suspension just isn’t there. Where do you typically go?

You ever heard of 4x Innovations? I can get sliders for $337 shipped and I'm on the opposite side of the US. It costs $67 to ship them.....

Edit: or just get TG ones from 4WP, they ship to store for free and you pick them up

I didn't realize 4WP sold sliders ... guess I have something else to save for now:annoyed:. I had kinda given up the idea of getting sliders since they are normally fairly expensive and shipping is insane. I must keep telling myself I don't need them for awhile :anonymous:

    $67 is insane shipping????

    http://www.4xinnovations.com/955-04-Extended-and-Double-Cab-Tacoma-Rock-Slider_p_72.html

or find out which kit goes on the tacoma and pick them up from your local store.

    https://www.4wheelparts.com/eSearch.aspx/Trail-Gear?N=1z13vsc&Ntk=primary&Ntt=sliders

Edit: Sliders are pretty much the first mod you should do if you plan to go off-roading. Then skids

$67 isn't bad but I've seen some 2-3 times as much. Im normally looking at prebuilt ones since my welding abilities are lacking for anything important. 4wp has free shipping too I noticed when I pulled up their page on the sliders. But I do like the ones that have the kick-out on the rear better. 4xinnovations look nice and shipping is only $58 for me, but then I'd have to pay someone to weld it all up for me.

Unfortunately I don't get to go off road hardly ever (work 7 days a week:ballchain:). And when I do its normally just unmaintained back roads in the mountains, so sliders aren't a huge hurry.

I'm sure if you post up in the TN thread somebody on here can weld them for you pretty cheap. Or know somebody. I got my sliders welded on for a 12 pack of blue moon. Just ask locally and I bet somebody will do the same.

No need to go get the "big name" brand sliders (Relentless, BAMF, All-Poo) the smaller ones work just as good

Yup. I have 4xinnovations. Been thru some nasty slabs. Used them as pivot points. So far so good.

Those BAMF ones are stout AF! Beefy! But $$$

For some reason I’ve never noticed this Land Cruiser sitting in someone’s yard on my drive to school. The want is real :spending:5A17A433-B6CC-408E-ABDE-44DA684C93AB.jpg

Yeah I have a dualsport as well, Kawi KLX250. I mostly use it for cruising around old logging roads and trails looking for hunting spots, or hitting mild single track. Nothing too crazy.
If you're out this way and want to go riding (other than this weekend lol) hit me up!

I've been debating on getting a hitch carrier like you have, I'm not sure how well it would work with my swingout. It would definitely make it easier than pulling the canopy off to carry the bike around though...

OEM as I don't think the store brands are grease able but I could be wrong. I'll be swapping one here soon too
